“Kansas is a great track. I had a good run there in the truck series in 2008 and I’ve been quick in ARCA. I think it’s a place that really suits my driving style and will play well into our strengths as a team right now. We had a good run at Charlotte so I think our 1.5 mile program is pretty solid. We just need to keep building on our momentum and developing these trucks and we’ll be closer to a win each week. The GoPro team has been working hard and we’re all looking forward to another top-10 or better in Kansas.”

LAST RACE RECAP:

Justin Marks scored his second consecutive top-10 finish in N.C. Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, claiming the O’Reilly Auto Parts Position Improvement Award after qualifying 25th and finishing ninth. Marks climbed four positions in the Driver Point standings, and is currently ranked 15th, just 15 points out of the top-10.

THE CREW CHIEF’S CHOICE FOR KANSAS:

Crew Chief Doug Wolcott has selected chassis No. 75 for the 11th Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts “250″. Marks last raced this truck at Nashville Superspeedway where he qualified 27th and finished 25th. Prior to Nashville, this truck competed at Darlington Raceway where it qualified 28th and finished 24th. The team is looking for better results in Kansas.

MARKS MEETS THE FANS ON FRIDAY!:

Justin Marks, teammate Cole Whitt, and other NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers will take part in an autograph session on Friday, June 3rd from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. The autograph session will take place in the Fan Walk located between the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series garages.

KANSAS RACE MARKS A MILESTONE FOR THE TRUCK SERIES:

The O’Reilly Auto Parts 250 at Kansas Speedway will mark the 400th start for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. To honor the occasion, Justin Marks and teammate Cole Whitt will run a commemorative 400th series logo decal on their Chevrolet race trucks. 2000 series champion Greg Biffle will lead the field to the green flag from the pace truck on Saturday.
