Ron Hornaday, Jr., won his first NCWTS race of the 2011 season Friday night, as he held off Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender, Parker Kligerman, to win the WinStar World Casino 400k at Texas Motor Speedway.

Following Hornaday (who received his 48th series career win, and his third series win at Texas) and Kligerman to the drop of the checkered flag were David Mayhew finishing third, Brian Ickler fourth and Sunoco Rookie contender, Joey Coulter finishing in the fifth position.

Rounding out the top-ten finishers were Ricky Carmichael finishing sixth, Ryan Sieg seventh, Sunoco Rookie contender, Miguel Paludo eighth, pole sitter James Buescher ninth and Justin Lofton finishing in tenth.
