Press Release“I’m looking forward to getting back on a short track,” said Sauter, who comes from a legendary short track racing family in Wisconsin. “Local sponsors fuel this sport, and it’s what we’re built on. I’m honored that Karl Chevrolet has come on board the No. 13 for this week. We’re focused on winning races every week, and we’ve been so close here the last few. It’s time to try to bring one home.”
Carl Moyer, Dealer Principle of Karl Chevrolet, is thrilled to have his dealership align with ThorSport Racing and Johnny Sauter.

It has been a pleasure to follow and be a part of Johnny’s career as he has developed into one of the top drivers the Series has to offer. We admire the competitive drive Johnny brings each and every lap, and the way he has fought to the top of the point standings. Excited to see what he can do here with Karl Chevrolet on the hood!”

“We are excited to be able to bring Karl Chevrolet into the ThorSport Racing family of partners,” said LaNeve. “The partnership with Johnny and Karl Chevrolet gives the dealership the opportunity to showcase their company and presence in Iowa on a national stage. With a frontrunning truck all year, Johnny is poised to bring home a great finish for us all at Iowa. We’re looking forward to it.”
