11 Down, 14 To Go: In the season’s first 11 events, White has earned one top-five, two top-10, five top-15 and seven top-20 finishes. The Richmond, VA native has led six laps and recorded a 17.5 starting average coupled with an 18.1 finishing average and has completed 93.68 percent of all laps attempted (1706 of 1821).

Nashville News: In six previous starts at Nashville Superspeedway, White has one top-15 and three top-20 finishes, scoring his best finish at the concrete oval in April, 2011 finishing 13th. Additionally, White has an average start of 23.5 coupled with an average finish of 21.8, leading six laps and completing 78.4 percent of all laps attempted (709 of 904).

Whatcha Haulin?: White will pilot JDM06 for the third week in a row from the Joe Denette Motorsports stables in Friday night’s Lucas Deep Clean 200 at Nashville Superspeedway. This is the same No. 23 GunBroker.com Chevrolet that White drove to a 13th-place finish in his last visit to Nashville (April), 14th-place finish at Dover (May), the rookie team’s best finish of fifth at Kentucky, and last weekend’s 25th-place finish at Iowa. With an average finish of 14.25, this is White’s favorite chassis in the rookie team’s stables.

Last Time Atop The Charts: Crew Chief, Chad Kendrick, has one pole to his credit at Nashville Superspeedway. Kendrick called the shots for Timothy Peters in 2009 at Red Horse Racing when Peter’s lapped the concrete oval in 30.122 seconds (159.312mph).

Rearview Mirror-Iowa: Jason White and the No. 23 Joe Denette Motorsports team finished 25th in the Third Annual Coca-Cola 200 presented by Hy-Vee at Iowa Speedway. After qualifying 16th, the rookie team was running 10th when a flat right-front tire on lap 64 forced the No. 23 machine down pit road multiple times to fix the damage. Ultimately, the GunBroker.com Chevrolet would finish 10 laps down to race winner, Matt Crafton. This was the first finish outside the top-20 for the rookie team since Martinsville in April.

Get to the Point: Although White had a less than desirable 25th-place finish in last weekend’s NCWTS event at Iowa Speedway, the No. 23 Joe Denette Motorsports team remains 16th in the 2011 owner point standings, a mere four points outside the top-15 and 45 points outside the top-10. Jason White is currently 15th in the 2011 NCWTS driver point standings.

We’re Guessing He Signs His Name Fast Too: White will join other NCWTS drivers for an autograph session on Friday, July 22nd from 1:00-2:00 p.m. in the Expo area located outside Gate 3 at Nashville Superspeedway.

“Nashville is known as “Music City” and they give away one of the coolest trophies-that custom Gibson Guitar. Every year Sam Bass holds up that piece of art in the driver’s meeting before the start of the race and every driver dreams of holding it up for the world to see in victory lane. Its custom painted for that race and probably one of the most wanted trophies in all of motorsports. Knowing that you have a one in 36 shot of winning it is pretty exciting. Hopefully, we can bring home that guitar this year. It would be music to my ears.”
