No. 32 Mike’s Hard Lemonade Silverado Team News and Notes

Back on the Saddle… Arpin is set to climb back into the seat of the Mike’s Hard Lemonade Chevy this Friday evening at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis (LORI). In his last appearance in the No. 32, Arpin brought home a top-15 finish at Iowa Speedway, continuing his solid NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) debut thus far in 2011.

Yup, He’s Been Here… This weekend will mark the first time Arpin has competed at LORI in the NCWTS, but it isn’t the first time he has logged laps at the .686-mile track. Arpin competed in a USAC event in 2008, where he finished 16th on his way to earning the 2008 USAC Silver Crown Rookie of the Year honors.

This Week’s Silverado… The No. 32 Mike’s Hard Lemonade Chevrolet Silverado team will unload chassis TMS-017 for Friday evening’s 200-lap event. This chassis saw track action this past spring at Martinsville Speedway and Nashville Superspeedway, where Brad Sweet finished 15th and 28th respectively.

Thus Far… Arpin has logged three starts and has earned two top-15 finishes, led six laps and holds an average starting spot of 10th and an average finish of 16th.

Chill with Arpin… Arpin will be making several appearances prior to his start at LORI. On Tuesday (7/26), Arpin will be signing autographs at Kroger in Brownsburg, IN. from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m and at Crown Liquors in Avon, IN. from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Fans can meet the No. 32 Mike’s Hard Lemonade driver on Wednesday (7/27) at Kroger in Indianapolis, IN. from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. and later that evening at Ricks Boatyard Café from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Arpin and Mike’s Summer Series… Arpin will pilot the Mike’s Hard Lemonade Chevy Silverado in five outings this summer. In addition to his previous starts at Texas Motor Speedway, Kentucky Speedway, Iowa Speedway and this weekend’s event at LORI, he will be behind the wheel of the No. 32 Chevy at Chicagoland Speedway in September.

Steve Arpin on Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis:

“It’s really cool to come to Indianapolis to race. It has such a racing history from the Indy Car Series, to NASCAR to USAC. I’ve raced here once before, but I’m looking forward to getting back here and racing for Mike’s Hard Lemonade. It’s tough to know we won’t be racing here again next year so we’ll make it a memorable evening for everyone here supporting us.”
