Elliott Sadler And The Virginia Lottery Are Taking Two Lucky Facebook Fans To Martinsville
Press Release
“We are delighted to offer this unique opportunity to our Facebook fans,” said Virginia Lottery Executive Director, Paula Otto. “We understand that our players want to interact with us in a variety of ways. It’s great to be able to partner with Elliott Sadler to offer our players, some of whom are also NASCAR fans, the chance to win a prize that cannot be purchased or won anywhere else.”
This once in a lifetime NASCAR experience includes overnight accommodations, $500 in spending money, two all-access pit and garage passes, a meet-and-greet with Virginia native, Elliott Sadler, and a backstage VIP SPEED tour with Hermie Sadler. As Elliott’s honorary crew members, winners will also receive a crew shirt, hat, and the opportunity to sit atop the team’s pit box during the Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway!
“I love racing in my home state of Virginia,” said Elliott Sadler, “and to be able to partner with The Virginia Lottery at Martinsville is an added bonus. I’ll be racing for the win on Saturday, but we’re excited to offer Virginia Lottery fans an opportunity to win before we even get to the race track. This is a unique opportunity for NASCAR fans and we have made it so simple to enter, just ‘Like’ the Virginia Lottery on Facebook and enter to win this money-can’t-buy experience!”
The sweepstakes is open from August 2 to September 30, 2011 to Virginia Lottery Facebook fans who are 18 years-of-age or older and a resident of Virginia. Each contestant may enter only once, but share this opportunity with friends, so they can win too! Two winners will be chosen at random on October 4, 2011.
The Virginia Lottery generates approximately $1.2 million per day for Virginia’s K-12 public schools. Operating entirely on revenue from the sale of Lottery products, rather than tax dollars, the Virginia Lottery raised more than $430.2 million for Virginia’s public schools in fiscal year 2010. That represents about eight percent of state funding for public education in Virginia. For more information, visit www.valottery.com. Follow the Virginia Lottery on Facebook and Twitter.
