On a green-white-checkered restart of the NCWTS VFW 200, it was Kevin Harvick keeping Timothy Peters behind him as the checkered and yellow flags flew at Michigan International Speedway (MIS).

This was Harvick’s second (consecutive) series win of the 2011 season, his eleventh series career win and becomes the first driver to win in all three NASCAR national series at MIS with his first series win at the track.

Following Harvick and Peters were Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender, Miguel Paludo, receiving his career best finish of third-place, while James Buescher (now sits second in the points with a 5-point deficit behind Johnny Sauter) finished fourth and  David Starr finishing in fifth.

Rounding out the top-ten finishers were Jason White finishing in sixth, Ron Hornaday seventh, Brendan Gaughan eighth, Colin Braun ninth and Sunoco Rookie contender, Cole Whitt, finishing in the tenth position.
