Three-Time Reigning NASCAR Mexico Series Champion Germán Quiroga Set to Return to the No. 51 Telcel Tundra for Truck Series Finale
Press ReleaseWith one race remaining on the 2011 NASCAR Mexico Series schedule, the 31-year-old driver has already clinched his third consecutive NASCAR Mexico Series championship. In 13 starts this season, the Mexico City native has collected three wins, two poles and 10 top fives. Prior to winning three consecutive titles, Quiroga finished second in points in 2007 and 2008.
Quiroga’s 17 career wins rank second on the all-time NASCAR Mexico Series list behind Rogelio Lopez’s 20. Over 94 career starts, he has captured eight poles, 61 top fives and 74 top 10s.
