President Clay Campbell on the Passing of Dr. Joe Mattioli, founder of Pocono Raceway:
“Doc Mattioli was larger than life. His smile and personality took over a room when he entered. He left an indelible mark on our sport and his loss leaves a huge void. He set a high standard that so many of us tried to reach. Our sympathy goes out to his wife Rose and all of the Mattioli family.”
