TRACK FACTS: Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis has been in operation since 1960 and is situated on 267 acres of land. This multipurpose facility has three racetracks, a .686-mile oval, quarter-mile dragstrip, and 2.5-mile, 15-turn road course. The first oval race was in 1961 on the dirt; A. J. Foyt took home the checkered flag for that event.

JARED ON LUCAS OIL RACEWAY: “It’s a really big race weekend in Indy, a lot of activity at both tracks. I am looking forward to going back to LOR it’s one of my favorite tracks, last year we were 7th overall in practice and started 12th. We were having a good run until we got caught up in an accident that destroyed out car after 136 laps. I have a lot of confidence in our short track program and I am looking for some redemption this weekend. Everyone has been working hard at the shop and we are going for a solid top 5 finish-if not the win.”

TEAM TMR AT LUCAS OIL RACEWAY: Redemption seems to be the name of the game for this weekend. Heading to LOR with a very strong short track program they have built this season and their favorite chassis. Crew Chief Wayne Carroll comments, “We are unloading our favorite car for this weekend, we have had good runs on the short tracks this year but the past few speedway races we have been down on horsepower so we haven’t had the runs that we are capable of having. Jared likes LOR and he was good there last year so we are looking for a turnaround this weekend. We need to make sure we stay out front and not have to fight the lap traffic-that should help us bring home a good solid finish.”

TMR CHASSIS #004: The Drag Wagon makes another appearance. This 110” chassis is still deemed the team favorite, one that they can count on to bring home nothing less than a top 10 finish.

JARED FAST FACTS: Currently sitting 13th in points Jared has racked up 5-top 10’s out of his 10 attempts this season. This will be his second ARCA Series career start at Lucas Oil Raceway.

RACE INFORMATION: The Messina Wildlife Animal Stopper 200 is a one day show on Friday, July 27th. Two rounds of practice will kick off the on track activities at 1:35-2:20PM and 3-3:45PM, followed by Menards Pole Qualifying presented by Ansell at 5:30PM. The green flag waives at 9:00PM. Catch all of the action live on SPEED beginning at 9:00PM, all times are Eastern. Live timing and scoring for the 200 lap/137 mile event is available at arcaracing.com.

WEEKEND APPEARANCES: Jared will be making an appearance on Saturday, July 28th from 12-8:00PM at the Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Chicago, IL for their “Summer of Abundance & Hope” Back to School Community Health Fair & Gospel Concert to help families prepare for early school start in August. This free health fair will not only provide free back-to-school physicals, but also a variety of free health screenings for adults.

Popular Billboard gospel recording artist Tony Tidwell & Joshua’s Troop will headline a rousing and inspirational day-long line-up of gospel performers, including 1 SoL, Uncommon Favor, Lamont Davis and Divine Purpose, Greater Canaan M.B. Church, and The Salvation Army Kroc Corps Singing Company. More than 1000 families attended this event last year receiving backpacks and school supplies to help get them off to a good start. Even more are expected this year for a fun-filled day in the park with expanded entertainment and activities. This event is fun for the entire family.
