This was Busch’s fourth series win of the 2012 season, his first series career win and his first series win at the track known for “racing perfection.”
Following Busch and Hamlin to the drop of the checkered flag were pole-sitter Kevin Harvick finishing in third, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (who trails the series leader Elliott Sadler by 2-points in the standings) fourth and Sam Hornish, Jr., finishing in fifth.
The current series points leader, Elliott Sadler, finished in the sixth position, while Ryan Blaney
finished seventh, Michael Annett eighth, Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender, Austin Dillon ninth and Kasey Kahne rounding out the top-ten finishing positions.
