QUOTES
Stenhouse, Jr. on racing at Michigan International Speedway:
“We always look forward to Michigan because it’s in the backyard of Ford and Roush Industries. We aren’t sure how the new surface will affect our No. 6 Roush Fenway 25 Winning Years Ford. We’ve struggled the past two weeks so our focus is to get a solid finish and regain some points in the championship standings.”
Crew chief Mike Kelley on racing at Michigan International Speedway:
“We’ve had a weekend off to re-group and get prepared for Michigan. There is a lot of uncertainty due to the new surface so we will look at the data from our Cup teams on Thursday’s test session. The key is to have a good-handling race car but Michigan is a track where fuel mileage and pit strategy are a factor. Our main goal is to leave Michigan with a strong finish.”
