NASCAR Nationwide Series Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender, Austin Dillon, with a lap speed of 190.900 mph, was (once again) the quickest during the second Alliance Truck Parts 250 practice session at Michigan International Speedway.
Joey Logano was second quickest with a lap speed of 189.858 mph, and he was followed by Elliott Sadler (189.399 mph) who was third quickest, Paul Menard (189.001) fourth and James Buescher (188.462) was fifth quickest.
Returning to NASCAR competition after being suspended last weekend, Kurt Busch (188.304 mph) was the sixth quickest during the session, while Michael Annett (188.270) seventh, Danica Patrick (188.255) eighth, rookie contender, Cole Whitt (188.142) ninth and the defending series champion, Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. (188.137) rounds out the top-ten quickest.
