From the pole to victory lane, Nelson Piquet, Jr., leads the most laps and most importantly the last lap, as he win his first NNS career race with the 2012 Sargento 200 victory at Elkhart Lake’s (WI) Road America road course.

Coming in 2.258 seconds behind Piquet (who led 19 of the 50 laps) for second-place was Michael McDowell, and they were followed by Ron Fellows finishing third, Max Papis fourth and Sam Hornish, Jr., finishing in fifth.

Rounding out the top-ten finishing positions were Jacques Villeneuve  finishing sixth, Brian Scott seventh, Kurt Busch eighth, NNS Rookie of the Year contender,  Cole Whitt ninth and Justin Allgaier finished in the top-ten position.

The current series points leader, Elliott Sadler, finished 15th and leads Austin Dillon (who finished 18th) by 11-points in the series standings.
