Mike Wallace Quotes
“It’s great to once again have Jim and everyone from Gerber Collision & Glass on board for this weekend. We’ve really gotten to know them pretty well in the last three years and they’re awesome to work with and we appreciate their support.
“We are coming off a decent run at Daytona, minus the bad finish, and are really proud of what did at New Hampshire last week, too. This track of Chicagoland isn’t much different than the other 1.5-mile ovals we run.
“You just have to get dialed in on the practice sessions on Saturday. For qualifying, you need to have a great lap so you can start closer to the front then just work your pit strategy to get that great finish.
“A lot of the things we’ve been trying lately seem to be clicking. I have to give Johnny (Davis), Gary Keller, Newt Moore (crew chief) and the entire team credit for their hard work. I just hope it pays off for the Gerber Collision & Glass folks and the team.”
