(MOORESVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA) September 13, 2012 – Jason Bowles and the MacDonald Motorsports No. 81 Toyota team return to Chicagoland Speedway for the second time this season on Saturday for the Dollar General 300. Earlier this season at Chicago, Bowles qualified 17th and finished 23rd. The team will be looking to improve upon that and earn their 5th top-15 finish of the season this Saturday.

Jason on Chicagoland….. “I’m glad to be back in the Toyota Camry this weekend for Chicago. It has been a really solid car for us on the 1.5 milers this season so I think a top-15 will definitely be a good possible. We are in a really close battle in the driver and owner standings right now so a solid run would be huge.”

Back in the Toyota….. Bowles will return to the seat of his No. 81 Toyota Camry this weekend in Chicago. This will be the first time back in the Camry since Montreal last month. The MacDonald Motorsports No. 81 team has run Toyota’s in 19 races thus far this season and a Dodge in six.

Close points battles….. Jason is in the middle of a fierce battle for 9th in the driver standings and 16th in the owner standings. Just 59 points separate 15th from 9th in the driver standings while Jason currently sits in 14th. On the owner’s side, 52 points separate 16th from 23rd. The MacDonald Motorsports No. 81 sits 22nd currently there, looking to move into the top-20 this weekend.

Richmond re-cap….. Last Friday night in Richmond, Bowles and the team had a strong run going until the late stages of the race.
