Eric McClure Goes “Pink” in Support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation for Three Consecutive NASCAR Nationwide Series Races
Press Release
Eric McClure Quotes:
“We at TriStar Motorsports and all of our partners are privileged to have the opportunity to race for support and awareness for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Breast Cancer has affected a lot of lives and families, including my own, and I’m very thankful there are organizations like the NCBF (National Breast Cancer Foundation) that are doing what they can to bring awareness and finding a cure to this awful, awful disease. It’s very encouraging that respective brands, such as Hefty® and Reynolds®, are taking steps to do their part in raising awareness and we are blessed to be part of it as well.”

About Reynolds Consumer Products
Two of the most trusted household brands, Reynolds® and Hefty®, joined together as Reynolds Consumer Products in 2010. While the establishment of this new company made it official, the truth is that Reynolds® and Hefty® products have been found side-by-side in the kitchens of American families for more than three generations.
The creation of both the Reynolds® and Hefty® brands is the direct result of American ingenuity mixed with a bit of elbow grease. Reynolds Wrap® Foil was invented after the use of aluminum for military purposes diminished after World War II and became a new staple for American kitchens. Hefty® Waste Bags were first developed with excess material from an early plastics innovator, creating another household essential.
Today, Reynolds Consumer Products, headquartered in Lake Forest, Illinois, offers a diverse product portfolio of essentials for every home. From prepping, cooking and serving, to storage and disposal, Reynolds Consumer Products provides solutions for controlling the chaos of busy households everywhere.

About TriStar Motorsports
TriStar Motorsports was established in 1989 by Mark and Kathy Smith. In its early years, the team competed in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series, where the team won the Coors Light Pole for the 1994 Daytona 500 with Loy Allen Jr. After accumulating 151 starts in the Winston Cup Series, with three poles and nine top-10′s, Smith withdrew from team ownership to focus on building engines for the NASCAR industry. Now, Smith’s company – Pro Motor Engines – is the leading independent builder of race engines for all three of NASCAR’s top-tier divisions and other series like ARCA and the SCCA.
Smith was eager to return to team ownership and the opportunity came along in 2010 when he re-launched his TriStar Motorsports team and began fielding cars in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. In only two short years, TriStar Motorsports has accumulated 250 starts and currently has drivers 8th, 13th and 17th in points. The team currently fields four entries with manufacturer support from Toyota.
