Johanna Long and the No. 70 ML Motorsports team will return to NASCAR Nationwide Series action this Saturday, October 20 at Kansas Speedway. The Kansas Lottery 300 event will be aired live on ESPN beginning at 2:00 p.m. CST. Fans can also tune into MRN Radio as well as Sirius Satellite Radio, Channel 90.

This Week’s Chevrolet – The No. 70 Foretravel Motorcoach Chevrolet team will bring chassis No. 64 to Kansas Speedway. The team utilized Chassis No. 64 at both Chicagoland Speedway races, with the most recent race taken place on September 15. Long finished both races in the 21st position.

Kansas Speedway – Long has one previous start at the 1.5-mile track of Kansas Speedway, which took place in 2011 in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for her then family owned team, Panhandle Motorsports.

Meet Johanna – Fans will have the opportunity to meet Johanna at the Chevrolet Racing Display on Saturday, October 20 from 1:10 to 1:25 p.m. CST. She will be onsite signing autographs as well participating in a Q&A.

Away from the Track – During ML Motorsport’s three-week hiatus period, the team hosted the Inaugural “Red, White and You Barbeque” fundraiser on October 7. The event benefited the Indiana-based organization, Wish for Our heroes and the local military that it serves.

The 20-year-old Rookie driver recently visited her home track, Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, FL to race in their Championship night leading up to the Snowball Derby. Long started the Whataburger 100 Pro Late Model race in the 10th position and finished the night in 2nd.

Johanna on Driving at Kansas Speedway- “I’m really anxious to get back in the seat at Kansas Speedway. It is tough watching the Nationwide Series from behind the scenes, but it just makes you that much more eager to do well when you’re back at the track. The ML Motorsports team had a strong run at our last race, which took place at Kentucky. I hope to continue the progression at Kansas and have another strong finish for the ML Motorsports team.”
