Landon Cling and the #29 Brad Keselowski Racing (BKR) Checkered Flag Foundation Dodge began their PASS South race weekend on a strong note as Cling earned the fastest practice time during the third session for the CV Products 125. Due to an unfortunate wreck near the end of the race, Cling ended the weekend with a 16th place finish.

Cling said, “We began the weekend with a strong practice session, and looked forward to the feature race. We were unfortunately involved in a wreck towards the end of the race. The team was able to quickly re-pair the damage, but finished 16th due to a lack of time left in the race.” Cling continued to say, “The results are less than expected, but we will persevere and strongly move forward to the next stop on the schedule.”

Crew chief John Killen said, “It was a tough night for the BKR race team. We were on the move forward when we were wrecked on the front stretch. The BKR race crew fixed the damage car, and only lost 10 laps.”

Concord speedway is a historical track with an ambitious amount of action to offer fellow racers through every banked turn. The tracks creative characteristics have drivers continually talking about its high energy.

Cling currently sits 4th in the PASS South points, and 2nd in the PASS National point’s standings. Crew Chief John Killen said, “Landon has continued to hold a top 5 position in the point’s standings. This is largely due to Landon’s determination to finish races. Championships are not won on good nights; they are won by finishing races on bad nights. Landon has figured this out and is going to be a contender for the PASS south title. ” Catch Cling as he takes on South Boston Speedway during the Saturday, June 9th PASS South feature race.
