2012 NSCS Budweiser Shootout Final Practice Session Speeds
Timing & Scoring
With those seven-laps, and with a lap speed of 197.689 mph, it was Jamie McMurray posting the fastest lap, followed by Juan Pablo Montoya (197.694 mph) who was second fastest, Greg Biffle (196.331) third fastest, Kasey Kahne (195.529) fourth and Marcos Ambrose (195.495) was fifth fastest.
Rounding out fastest among the twelve drivers that were able to practice were Denny Hamlin (195.410 mph) who was sixth fastest, Michael Waltrip (194.966) seventh, Joey Logano (194.150) eighth, Matt Kenseth (193.823) ninth, Carl Edwards (192.205) tenth, Jimmie Johnson (189.821) eleventh and Dale Earnhardt Jr. (189.729) posting the twelfth fastest lap speed.
Up next is the drawing to determine the starting lineup to begin at 8:30 PM (ET) on SPEED, and then Saturday night’s race is set to get underway at 8:10 PM (ET) with FOX beginning their (pre) race coverage at 8:00 PM (ET).
