Second on the charts was Carl Edwards with a lap speed of 179.361 mph, and he was followed by Jeff Gordon (179.108 mph) who was third, Paul Menard (178.798) fourth and Kyle Busch (178.540) was fifth fastest on the charts.
Rounding out the top-ten fastest during the “Happy Hour” (final) practice session were Kasey Kahne (178.455 mph) who was sixth fastest, Greg Biffle (178.303) seventh, Brad Keselowski (177.683) eighth, A.J. Allmendinger (177.459 mph) ninth and Marcos Ambrose (177.333) posting the tenth fastest lap on the speed charts.
The teams will return to the track Saturday morning for qualifying at 11:10 AM (ET) to determine the starting lineup for the 31st annual Pocono 400 presented by #NASCAR on Sunday. The race is set to get underway around 1:20 PM (ET) and TNT will begin their 6-race/weekend television coverage starting with their 12:30 PM (ET) pre-race show.
