The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series teams were on the track early Saturday morning at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, as Denny Hamlin, with a lap speed of 131.478 mph, was the fastest during the second LENOX Industrial Tools 301 practice session.

Jeff Gordon, with a lap speed of 131.370 mph, was the second fastest, and was followed by Martin Truex, Jr. (131.193 mph) who was third fastest, Aric Almirola (131.094) fourth and Clint Bowyer (131.004) was fifth fastest.

Outside pole-sitter, Kasey Kahne (130.927 mph) was sixth fastest, while pole-sitter Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson with the identical lap speed (130.909) were seventh and eighth fastest respectively, Brian Vickers (130.878) ninth and Jeff Burton (130.756) rounding out the top-ten fastest in the session.

The teams will return to the track for “Happy Hour” (final practice session) from 11:20 AM – 12:20 PM (ET) before returning on Sunday for the 20th annual LENOX Industrial Tools 301, which is set to get underway at around 1:20 PM (ET) Sunday afternoon. And, TNT will conclude their series of television coverage beginning with their 12:00 PM (ET) “Countdown to Green” pre-race show.
