Biffle on racing at Michigan International Speedway:
“We had a really good test at Michigan after Indy and based on how we ran there earlier this year I’m definitely excited about going to Michigan. Michigan is home to Roush Industries and Ford, so it’s always fun to race there. We’ll try and get our 3M Ford back in victory lane.”
Crew chief Matt Puccia on racing at Michigan International Speedway:
“Michigan is always a special place since it’s in Jack’s backyard. We had a good tire test there after Indy and the race earlier this season went really well for us. We plan on taking what we learned from the tire test and improving on our fourth-place finish from the spring. Hopefully we’ll leave Michigan with our second win of the season.”
• Last Time at Michigan: Greg Biffle started third, led a total of 38 laps and had one of the fastest cars on the track. Biffle had to conserve his right-rear tire in the closing laps, so he couldn’t compete for the win, but did manage a top-five finish.
• Michigan Stats: Biffle has an average starting position of 13.3 and average finishing position of 12.4 at Michigan.
• Point Standings: Biffle is currently second in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver point standings, only one point out of first.
