Experienced Gained at Chicagoland Speedway for Paulie Harraka
Press Release‘Wauters Motorsports team posts 19th-place finish in drivers’ first start at Chicagoland’

Harraka placed the race truck in the 18th-place position on the starting grid for the 150 lap, 225 mile race at the Joliet, Illinois race track with a time of 31.626 seconds and a speed of 170.746 mph.
Harraka led his first career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series laps at the 1.5-mile track from lap 58 to lap 60 after crew chief Richie Wauters used strategy to pit early for fuel and outlast the other competitors.
“We had a pretty solid weekend in Chicagoland,” Paulie Harraka said. “Richie and I really have gained a lot on the communication with each other of the handling of these race trucks. I had heard a lot about Chicagoland Speedway and am happy to be able to log laps, even lead a few laps there. Now we’ll take the truck back to the Wauters Motorsports shop with minor damage and get it ready to unload in Pocono.”
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series has an off week but will be back in action Saturday, August 4, 2012 for the running of the Pocono Mountains 125 at Pocono Raceway.
