No. 31 Wolfpack Rentals Chevrolet News and Notes

Back In Iowa… James Buescher and the No. 31 team return to Iowa Speedway for their second of two trips in the 2012 season. On Saturday night under the lights, Buescher and the crew look for redemption from their first trip to the Midwest track. After leading ninety-one laps, the right-front Goodyear Wrangler failed without notice on lap 135, sending Buescher into the outside wall, ending his dominating performance. The Texan has four previous starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) at the Iowa short track. Buescher has two top-10 finishes and an average finish of 14th at Iowa Speedway.

This Week’s Silverado… The No. 31 Wolfpack Rental Chevrolet Silverado team will unload chassis TMS-220. Atlanta was the first race for this chassis, which posted a third-place finish in its debut.

Last Race Recap… Buescher and the No. 31 Turner Motorsports Chevrolet team rolled into the mile and a half track of Atlanta Motor Speedway with brand new partner Central Wire on board. Buescher and team continued their dominance on the intermediate tracks and posted a top-three finish. Buescher also managed to close the points gap from 17 to just six behind the leader. This was Buescher’s eighth top-five in 2012.

Buescher on returning to Iowa Speedway -

“I’m really looking forward to getting back to Iowa and picking up where we left off before the tire failure. I feel like this place owes us one, not just because of my tough luck in the truck, but also all the other races I’ve run here. I feel like I learned a lot last week in Richmond in the Nationwide car to put us in a good spot this weekend.”
