Artistically Racing for a Cure… Nelson Piquet Jr.’s No. 30 Chevy Silverado will carry the Alpinestars/Claw Money Breast Cancer Awareness paint scheme as it challenges the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) field on Saturday, October 6th at Talladega Superspeedway. The paint scheme was designed by NYC-based graffiti artist Claw Money, who included her interpretation of the pink ribbon for breast cancer on the unique creation. The truck’s hood, diecast model trucks and t-shirts will be available for auction shortly following the race through eBay Giving Works, with all proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen foundation. Piquet Jr. Hits Jackpot in Vegas… Piquet Jr. claimed his second NCWTS win with an impressive last-lap pass at Las Vegas Motor Speedway last weekend. After starting 13th, the Brazilian battled in the top-five for majority of event and led for a total of 30 laps. This victory was Turner Motorsport’s seventh win in 2012.

This Week’s Silverado… Piquet Jr. and the No. 30 Qualcomm team will unload chassis TMS-016 for this weekend’s event at Talladega Superspeedway. TMS-016 will take to the track for the second time this year, after making its debut at Daytona International Speedway for the first race of the season.
