Eric McClure Quotes
In years past, you have said that Iowa Speedway is one of your favorite tracks on the circuit. Is it still high on your list? Why?
“I like Iowa. It’s fast but you can race there. It’s the ideal racetrack and the fans are plentiful and supportive of our series. It’s a great experience.”
“We haven’t always finished where we would like, but we always seem to be decent there once the race starts. We just need to finish one without trouble and put ourselves in position to have a good week.”
Hefty® / Reynolds® Racing NOTES
23rd in Owners’ Standings… After 11 races this season, Eric McClure sits 23rd in the NASCAR Nationwide Series owner standings. He is currently 21 points out of the 20th spot.
Iowa Fast Facts… This weekend’s DuPont Pioneer 250 will mark McClure’s 211th-career NASCAR Nationwide Series start and his fifth at the 7/8-mile tri-oval. In four starts, the Virginia driver has completed 96.4% of the total laps attempted and has an average finish of 25th. McClure posted his best finish of 20th during his first event at the speedway in 2009, driving a car for Team Rensi Motorsports. He missed the spring event last season as he was still recovering from injuries sustained in an accident at Talladega Superspeedway. A mechanical failure relegated him to a 31st-place finish during the second Iowa race in 2012.
Chassis No. 7 … The Virginia native will pilot chassis No. 7 during this weekend’s event at Iowa Speedway. This chassis was run three weeks ago at Darlington Raceway where the team posted a 26th-place finish.
Personal Appearances… McClure will be at two appearances leading up to this weekend’s DuPont Pioneer 250. The first will be at Hy-Vee grocery store on Friday, June 7 from 11am – 12pm (CT). The store address is 410 N Ankeny Rd, Ankeny, IA. The second, which is prior to Saturday’s race, will be at the Iowa Speedway’s Jr. Pit Crew Club from 3:00pm – 3:30pm (CT).

About Reynolds Consumer Products
Two of the most trusted household brands, Reynolds® and Hefty®, joined together as Reynolds Consumer Products in 2010. While the establishment of this new company made it official, the truth is that Reynolds® and Hefty® products have been found side-by-side in the kitchens of American families for more than three generations.
The creation of both the Reynolds® and Hefty® brands is the direct result of American ingenuity mixed with a bit of elbow grease. Reynolds Wrap® Foil was invented after the use of aluminum for military purposes diminished after World War II and became a new staple for American kitchens. Hefty® Waste Bags were first developed with excess material from an early plastics innovator, creating another household essential.
Today, Reynolds Consumer Products, headquartered in Lake Forest, Illinois offers a diverse product portfolio of essentials for every home. From prepping, cooking and serving, to storage and disposal, Reynolds Consumer Products provides solutions for controlling the chaos of busy households everywhere.
