“PRN’s At the Track, Presented by Charlotte Motor Speedway” to air weekly on GoPRN.com and on select area stations
Concord, N.C. (April 3, 2013) – Performance Racing Network (PRN), in conjunction with Charlotte Motor Speedway, today debuted “PRN’s At the Track,” a half-hour radio program dedicated to bringing fans in-depth insight into race events all over the Southeast.
“PRN’s At the Track” is a weekly radio show produced by PRN and hosted by Lenny Batycki. The show features the Southeast’s dirt track and short track news and newsmakers along with insights and behind-the-scenes information on the wide variety of events at these tracks and at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
“There are a bunch of great races happening each week at the dirt tracks and short tracks in our area,” said Batycki. “’PRN’s At the Track’ will let fans hear from the personalities that make those events come to life. Additionally, “PRN’s At the Track” will keep the fans up-to-date on all that is going on at the mecca of auto racing in the Southeast, Charlotte Motor Speedway. CMS hosts NASCAR, NHRA, World of Outlaws, US Legends and many other racing series throughout the year. There will be a lot of information to fit into each show but we will just have to bump it with the chrome horn, and slide it in sideways to get it done.”
Batycki has more than 25 years of experience in the motorsports industry. After starting his career as a track announcer, Batycki has also served as the vice president of Richard Childress Racing and vice president and general manager at Gateway International Raceway.
Currently, Batycki is the host announcer on Fox Sports South for the US Legends Summer Shootout Series produced by Speedway Television. He is the host announcer for the World’s Largest Outdoor HDTV screen at Charlotte Motor Speedway and the track announcer at zMAX Dragway.
“Lenny brings a unique perspective to this show, with his vast experience in all forms of grassroots racing,” said PRN president and co-anchor Doug Rice.
“PRN’s At the Track” is sure to deliver short track fans in the insider information they crave as well as exciting news and notes from The Greatest Place to See a Race, Charlotte Motor Speedway.
