There was no denying Kyle Busch from victory lane Friday night, as Busch led the most laps – 80 out of 134, and keeps Brendan Gaughan at bay (by 0.468 seconds) at the drop of the checkered flag to win the NCWTS North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Busch, who started fourth and overcame a pit road penalty for leaving the pit-box with equipment, received his first series win of the 2013 season, his thirty-first series career win, his fifth series win at Charlotte Motor Speedway and his 113th NASCAR national series win.

Coming in third-place behind Busch and Gaughan was Max Gresham, and they were followed by the current series points leader, Matt Crafton (who leads Jeb Burton by 22-points in the standings) fourth and Ty Dillon finishing fifth.

The defending series champion, James Buescher, finished in sixth, while Miguel Paludo claimed seventh, John Wes Townley eighth, Ross Chastian ninth and Justin Lofton rounding out the top-ten finishing positions.

Next Up: The teams will take next weekend off before returning to action at the “Monster Mile” of Dover International Speedway in the 14th annual Lucas Oil 200. The race is scheduled to get underway on Friday, May 31st, with an approximate starting time of 5:20 pm (ET) and SPEED will begin their television coverage beginning at 4:30 pm (ET).
