Fabricating An Empire For 2014 (Empire Racing)
Press Release

Empire Racing LLC.
Empire Racing LLC.
(MOORESVILLE, NC) 2/5/2014 – The meaning of fabricate is to construct or combine together and that is exactly what Empire Racing has been doing in the off season to prepare for the 2014 ARCA and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series’ seasons.

The Empire crew wrapped up a very nice 2013 ARCA season with 2 poles, 2 track records, 2nd place Rookie of the Year and 6th place in overall 2013 ARCA series driver point standings. They are carrying that momentum straight thru to the 2014 season. The crew turned out three cars for the Daytona test, two of which will be returning to the track in a few weeks to compete in the 2014 ARCA series opener, the Lucas Oil Slick 200 presented by MAVTV American Real at Daytona International Speedway (DIS) in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The drivers chosen to pilot the Empire Racing Ford Fusions’ duo are none other than returning ARCA series driver Sean Corr and new to the team and series, 2013 NASCAR Modified Series Rookie of the Year, Cole Powell. Powell, being the first Canadian to win this title, is expected to bring a fresh force to the team on and off the track.

Not only is the team producing top ranked ARCA cars out of the Mooresville, North Carolina based shop, but they are producing ranking NCTWS trucks as well. Corr will sit in the driver’s seat to pilot the newly fabricated Ford F150 for Empire at the upcoming NCTWS season opener at Daytona International Speedway in just two weeks. The truck tested overall 7th fastest during the off season test in Daytona just this past month in January.

While Empire Racing builds and manufactures its own racing equipment, they are also in the business of building lasting relationships. This year for Daytona, Empire Racing will be partnering with veteran and seasoned ARCA series driver James Hylton to keep his famed No. 48 in competition for the 2014 ARCA series season.

Empire Racing will be running the newest Roush-Yates FR-9 motor, designed especially for Ford Racing Engines, for the 2014 season. Considering the test results thus far, it’s proving to be a competitive package for the Empire Racing team.

The growing lineup for this now two car team stable is quickly growing to be a reckoning force on the track in the ARCA series as well as the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS). You can bet to see great things to come from the Empire Racing team for this 2014 season.
