Kyle Larson Claims ARCA Series Victory at Pocono Raceway

Kyle Larson Wins Pocono ARCA 200 at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway for Turner Scott Motorsports LONG POND, Pa., (June 7, 2014) - Kyle Larson made his third-career start in the ARCA Racing Series on Saturday afternoon at Pocono Raceway and claimed victory in the No. 4 Cartwheel by Target Chevrolet after leading 66 of the race's 80 laps. Despite having no prior experience at the Tricky Triangle, Larson and his Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) team first won the pole award on Friday afternoon after laying down the fastest lap time amongst the 30-car field. Leading the pack as the green flag waved, Larson radioed to his NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) crew chief Scott Zipadelli that his Cartwheel Chevy was tight getting into the center. After making a few laps around the 2.5-mile track, Larson ... FULL STORY »

Matt Kenseth wins second Bristol pole in Friday’s time trials
By NASCAR Wire Service

Matt Kenseth, driver of the #20 Dollar General Toyota, celebrates with the Coors Light Pole Award after qualifying for the pole position for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway on April 17, 2015 in Bristol, Tennessee. - Photo Credit: Jeff Zelevansky/Getty Images BRISTOL, Tenn.— If history repeats itself on Sunday at Bristol Motor Speedway, Matt Kenseth won’t have a problem with it. The last time Kenseth won a pole at the high-banked .533-mile short track—back in 2005—he followed with a victory in the race. In Friday’s time trials at Thunder Valley, with a lap at 128.632 mph (14.917 seconds) Kenseth earned the 14th Coors Light Pole Award of his career, his second at Bristol and his first of the season. And that’s a good omen for a driver who hasn’t won a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race since his seven-victory debut season with Joe Gibbs Racing in 2013. Kenseth edged two-time Bristol winner Brad Keselowski (128.442 mph) for the top starting spot by .022 seconds. Carl ... FULL STORY »
