Frank Kimmel extends ARCA top-10 streak to 36 at Talladega

Frank Kimmel (Photo Credit: Automobile Racing Club of America) (TALLADEGA, Ala.) - Frank Kimmel extended his consecutive races in which he finished in the top 10 to 36 straight Saturday, coming home with a ninth-place finish in the International Motorsports Hall of Fame 200 at Talladega Superspeedway. Kimmel started 22nd and held his spot near the back of the lead lap for much of the race. On a late-race pit stop, Kimmel's Win-Tron Racing team gave him four new tires and Kimmel drove to a high position of fifth place during the late race rally. "I got a little greedy at the end," Kimmel said. "I got up to fifth, but lost it a little there. It was a good finish for the kind of day we had." ... FULL STORY »
