NASCAR Nationwide Series Autograph Session and ARCA Fan Walk Fill Friday’s Activities at Talladega Superspeedway
TALLADEGA, AL – Two great additions to the 2012 Aaron’s Dream Weekend at Talladega Superspeedway have just been announced for Friday, May 4th. To kick off the weekend fans will be treated to the ARCA Fan Walk from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and a NASCAR Nationwide Series autograph session from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards Fan Walk, which returns to the garages of Talladega Superspeedway prior to the International Motorsports Hall of Fame 250, is a unique experience for infield guests, giving them unparalleled access to the action that precedes the start of the race.

Yacaman Scores First Pole with Firestone Freedom 100 Pole at Indy

INDIANAPOLIS (Thursday, May 24, 2012) - Gustavo Yacaman has one victory, 16 top-five and 26 top-10 finishes in four Firestone Indy Lights seasons.
On May 24, the 21-year-old from Colombia filled in another column with his first pole. And it comes in the biggest race of the season.
Yacaman, driving the No. 2 TMR-Tuvacol-Xtreme Coil Drilling car, posted a two-lap aggregate time of 1 minute, 35.9913 seconds (average speed of 187.517 mph) to claim the top spot for the Freedom 100 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Miller Lite Carb Day (May 25).
