PRESS RELEASE

Bryan Clauson Darlington Preview
Chip Ganassi with Felix Sabates Racing Press Release

Race: Diamond Hill Plywood 200 on Friday, May 9 (NNS) (LIVE, ESPN2, 7:30 p.m. ET)

Track: Darlington Raceway (1.366-mile oval)

Location: Darlington, SC

Bryan Clauson and the No. 40 Fastenal Dodge Team (NNS)

First Start at Darlington:
Bryan Clauson will be making his career-first NASCAR start at Darlington Raceway this Friday night, which will mark his seventh start of the 2008 season and 12th career start.

Rookie Update: Clauson was the Raybestos® Rookie of the Race last weekend at Richmond International Raceway (finished 21st), which was the second time this 2008 season the 18-year-old racer has claimed rookie of the race honors. Clauson’s fellow Fastenal Racing teammate Dario Franchitti still leads the NNS rookie class with a 26-point lead (89-63) over Clauson, who is second overall.

Standings Update: The No. 40 Fastenal Team stands 17th in the overall NNS owner points. With a current tally of 1,212, the team is 130 points away from the top 10 and 460 points outside of first.

Clauson Back on Midget Track: Clauson, who is just 18 years old, recently embarked on another avenue in his young motorsports career by becoming a team owner, forming Bryan Clauson Racing, Inc., which is fielding the No. 47 and 7 midget cars throughout the 2008 midget car racing season. Clauson is handling the role as a team owner and part-time driver with the help of his father Tim. The team’s first run took place in early April at Anderson (Ind.) Speedway with Clauson wheeling the initial effort. He plans to get back on track with his midget car next weekend May 16-18, competing at three different tracks in three days, including LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway (West Salem, Wis.), Slinger (Wis.) Superspeedway and Rockford (Ill.) Speedway. For more information, go to www.bryanclauson.com.

Check out the Parrott Perspective: Clauson’s NNS crew chief Brad Parrott is keeping fans up to date on what is going on in the world of the Fastenal Racing Team through an on-line log he is keeping throughout the 2008 NNS season. Check out the Parrott Perspective at www.fastenalracing.com.

Chip Ganassi Racing Teams, Inc.

With five wins already in 2008, the team continues to add to its tally of 94 trips to victory lane.
