PRESS RELEASE

Hattori Racing Enterprises Heads
to Kentucky with the Advics Camry

Hattori Racing Enterprises Press Release

Mooresville, NC (05-07-2008) – After the team’s debut at Rockingham Speedway with Justin Marks, Hattori Racing Enterprises is set for the second of eight ARCA RE/MAX Series races on the team’s partial-season schedule that will prepare HRE for a full, ARCA RE/MAX Series season in 2009. The team was organized by owner Shigeaki Hattori and the team’s sponsorship group to give young, talented drivers a chance to compete in the best equipment possible. For Kentucky Speedway, Sean Caisse will pilot the no. 01 Advics Camry for HRE. Advics, with a facility in nearby Hebron, KY, is sure to show support for Caisse in Saturday’s Drive Smart! Buckle Up 200.

“HRE was formed so that the sponsors, AISIN, AISIN AW and Advics, and Hattori Racing Enterprises, can give young, developing drivers a chance to compete in excellent racing equipment. We are working with young drivers this year in preparation for a full season of competition in ARCA in 2009,” said Hattori. “Sean Caisse is a good, young driver who has won many races and I think he will do a good job for HRE in the Advics Camry.”

Hattori is very proud of his race team’s effort at Rockingham.

“I’m so proud of the effort that the crew members and driver put forth in Hattori Racing Enterprises first race ARCA RE/MAX Series race at Rockingham. Everyone did a very nice job, unfortunately, we had some bad luck to take away the results we had worked so hard for,” said team owner Shigeaki Hattori. “We hope that we can collect a very strong finish for the Advics associates in Hebron.”

Driver Sean Caisse, of New Hampshire, says the HRE no. 01 Advics Camry is ready for the speeds of Kentucky.

“We shook down the Advics Camry on Tuesday at Rockingham. We picked that track because we needed a short time on a track that was big enough for us to hit higher speeds like we’ll run in the Drive Smart! Buckle Up 150 on Saturday,” said Caisse. “The Advics Camry was very strong. We were on track just long enough to check for problems and to adjust the time-consuming things like the driver’s seat, pedals, steering wheel. Crew chief Mike Abner and I understood each other right away, and the guys were pumped up and ready to get to Kentucky.”

Caisse says Germain Racing’s Todd Bodine helped him with understanding what to expect at Kentucky Speedway.

“Todd sat down with me and he went through the track, step by step. I couldn’t ask for a better driver than Todd to give me advice,” said Caisse, who has raced at Dover, Iowa and Loudon. “Kentucky Speedway will be the largest track I’ve raced on, so the technique Todd pointed out will really help me with things like straightaway speeds.”

The young driver says he is very confident in the HRE crew and the Advics Camry.

“I’m extremely confident in the equipment and the people surrounding me,” said Caisse. “With what Shige Hattori has given me in the crew and the Advics Camry, I think that we should be able to have a good showing for Advics and HRE at Kentucky Speedway.”

Team owner Shigeaki Hattori, a former IndyCar and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series racer, formed Hattori Racing Enterprises, HRE, out of his love for American auto racing. He and his sponsorship base of AISIN, AISIN AW and Advics are working together to develop young racing talent. Germain Racing is working with HRE, sharing with HRE the race team’s championship-winning experience and long-standing relationship with Toyota.

HRE has plans which include more ARCA RE/MAX Series races this year. HRE will race at Kentucky, Michigan, Nashville, DuQuoin, Salem and Talladega.
