PRESS RELEASE

Justin Allgaier Trying for Turn-Around in Toledo
Justin Allgaier Motorsports Press Release

Toledo, OH (May 13, 2008)- Justin Allgaier came straight out of the box in the 2008 season with a second place finish in his second run at the Daytona International Speedway in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. Allgaier went to the second race of 2008 at the Salem Speedway bringing home back to back victories at the track. Off to Iowa the series went and Allgaier scored a second place finish again posting two second place finishes and one win.

But his luck was to change – a series of mechanical issues and being a victim of circumstances has pushed his finishes out of the top-twenty in the past three races. These finishes consequently dropped him from the 2008 Championship Points Leader to the seventh position in points.

This week the 21-year-old driver will be heading to the Toledo Speedway to try to turn things around. Allgaier has eight previous starts at .5 mile speedway. His best finish of second was posted in both 2004 and 2006. Allgaier looks to advance that spot and score his first victory at the home track of the ARCA RE/MAX Series.

“We are three for three,” Allgaier said. “The first three races were great; the last three have been well bad. We’ve gone through the good and the bad runs so now it’s time to get back to some good runs again. We have a break after Toledo and I’m looking forward to that but I would really like to go on that break with another solid top-five finish. We have a good car for this weekend so I am sure we’ll turn it around.”

The Hantz Group 200 by Federated Auto Parts ARCA RE/MAX Series race is slated to begin at 2:00pm ET. The 200 lap, 100 mile race will be tape delay televised on MavTV.com. Live timing and scoring of practice, qualifying and the race is available on www.arcaracing.com.
