PRESS RELEASE

Todd Bodine Set on “Win” for North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at Lowe’s
Germain Racing Press Release

Mooresville, NC (05-13-2008) – Todd Bodine and the no. 30 Lumber Liquidators crew are set on ‘win’ when they show up at any race track. At the intermediate tracks, they are hard to beat. Between Bodine’s thirteen NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series wins with Germain Racing and his 15 Nationwide Series victories, there remains only one intermediate track on the Truck Series circuit that has shut out the #30 Lumber Liquidators crew or driver. That track is Lowe’s Motor Speedway.

“I look forward to Friday’s North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. We’ve learned a lot these last few races, and running at Darlington in the 03 Camry, we learned a lot about what we need to do this week. I’ve always run well at Lowe’s and never won. It would be nice to put the Lumber Liquidators Tundra in victory lane there this week,” said Bodine.

The youngest of the three racing brothers from Chemung, NY, Bodine competed just a short drive from Lowe’s at Darlington Raceway last Friday night. He finished 4th against some of NASCAR’s biggest names in the Nationwide Series race. The team was made up of the no. 30 Lumber Liquidators Tundra crew and was the first race back for crew chief Mike Hillman Jr.

“I can’t tell you how nice it was to be back at the race track, back on the box. My wife reminded me it had been ten weeks – I was only counting the four races I had to sit out. I think the birth of our third child, Mylee, in the midst of the stretch really helped pass the time,” smiled Hillman Jr. “With what our guys accomplished this past weekend at Darlington, this team has a lot of energy and momentum heading into our seven-week stretch with the Lumber Liquidators Tundra. We can’t wait to take the green flag at Lowe’s on Friday night.”

Bodine has won at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in what is now the Sprint Open, a last chance qualifier for the Sprint All-Star Race. However, a points victory at the tricky mile and a half still eludes him. Bodine thinks it’s just a matter of putting it all together for a perfect night.

“I’ve had a lot of fast cars at Lowe’s. It’s fun to drive. I’ve had a lot of strong runs – I’ve just never been able to get it all together for the win,” said Bodine, who has NASCAR wins at all intermediate tracks but Lowe’s. “With what this Germain Racing team has learned in the last few weeks, we have as good a chance as anyone to win that race on Friday night.”

Germain Racing needs wins at Lowe’s and Kentucky to hold victories at all Truck Series intermediate tracks. Bodine has a NNS win at Kentucky but no Truck Series win there.

Bodine enters the sixth race of the 2008 season sitting third in Truck Series points with one win, two top-five and three top-ten finishes. Germain Racing has won two or more races each year for a total of 14 wins. Along with the victories, the team has earned 4 Bud Pole awards, 56 top-five and 85 top-ten finishes and led 1355 laps in 163 Truck Series races.
