Rookie Craig Goess Encouraged by Performance, Discouraged by Results; Kentucky Next

It's certainly not been a banner season yet for Greenville, North Carolina rookie Craig Goess. He's had the performance alright, but not the luck to go with it. And as most people who follow motorsports know, you've got to have both in order to park in victory lane. Encouraged as well as discouraged may best describe the scene so far for Goess, who drives the no. 81 Greenville Toyota Toyota for Eddie Sharp Racing (ESR). "I'm encouraged; we're fast everywhere," explained Goess. "But I'm also very discouraged, frustrated. We need some good old-fashioned racing luck."
