Brian Scott Boise State will have its presence in a whole new competitive venue. Brian Scott, a NASCAR Nationwide Series driver born and raised in Boise, will sport a Boise State-themed design on his No. 11 Toyota at the Sept. 3 Great Clips 300 in Atlanta. Bronco football coach Chris Petersen recently heard about the plans, and when asked about it Wednesday, he perked up. “When I saw they were putting Kellen (Moore)’s number on the car — he’s actually No. 11 — that’s perfect karma,” Petersen said. Scott has three top-10 finishes this season in 24 races. The Sept. 3 race will take place in Atlanta, the same city where Petersen’s Broncos will be playing Georgia.
