2014 NSCS Food City 500 Starting Lineup

Tilton/Getty Images Denny Hamlin, with a new NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) Bristol Motor Speedway qualifying track record speed of 129.991 m.p.h., captured the 2014 Food City 500 Coors Light Pole Award on Friday. Hamlin, who broke Kyle Busch's record of 129.535 m.p.h. - set in March of last year, received his first series pole of the 2014 season, his eighteenth series career pole and his second series pole at Bristol Motor Speedway. Last week's race winner, Brad Keselowski, with a qualifying lap speed of 129.965 m.p.h., will start on the outside pole (for the second consecutive week) followed by Matt Kenseth (129.073 m.p.h.) stsrting third, Joey Logano (128.830) fourth and Marcos Ambrose (128.727) starts fifth.
