RACING PERSPECTIVES
Trackpass, It's NOW Worth It!

Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap from ground, to a satellite, to the ground again in a single bound. Who am I talking about? Not who, what? The media, that’s what!
Last week I reported that Trackpass was not worth it. This week I am here to tell you that the powers to be took care of the technical problem. Yes, at the start of Sunday’s 400 lap event I logged onto racecast and usually its 2 laps behind the actual lap. However, today they were only a lap down from the actual lap which is what their disclaimer states will happen. Hey, I’m impressed!
Then I clicked onto Dale Earnhardt, Jr. audio tab for the real acid test and what did I hear? I only heard Ty Norris and Tony Eury communicating with Junior in quality FM audio with plenty of volume too. The fool who announced the other racecars last week, gone! Jimmy Spencer’s spotter, gone! And Bill Elliott’s spotter, yes, he was gone too!
Now my only concern is will it stay that way? One can only hope it will, however, at least now I can recommend it. At this present time I’m suggesting that anyone who wants to check it out, to try the $4.95 a month deal first. And then if you like it go for the $29.95 deal because it’s cheaper than the monthly price.
Yes, you still need RealOne player to view the video clips, but I urge you to log onto the various Boycott NASCAR.com sites and follow the instructions to sign the petition. Here are two that are currently online:

Racecast Rip Off
Yes, I’m still thinking about all the foul justice in the world. The Middle East situation, The War on Terrorism (where heavy bombing has resumed in Afghanistan) and the economy that’s supposedly getting better. Of course there is the high cost of a race ticket and the NO cooler rule that boils my blood. In time these too can change with the power of the media on our side. Yes, I believe this Trackpass issue would not have been remedied if it weren’t for the power of the media like Catchfence.com. And that's pretty cool!
