PRESS RELEASE
Carl Edwards “Clear to Drive” in Darlington
Roush Fenway Racing, Press Release
CONCORD, N.C. (May 6, 2008) - This weekend at Darlington Raceway, Carl
Edwards’ No. 99 Ford Fusion will carry the colors of CLARITIN ® a
non-drowsy allergy medicine.. Edwards debuted the CLARITIN ® paint
scheme on March 30 in Martinsville, VA where he brought home a
ninth-place finish, the best of his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series career at
that speedway.
Edwards, who suffers from allergies, teamed up with CLARITIN® for the
"Clear to Drivesm" campaign to raise awareness of drowsy driving.
Edwards offers tips for preventing this growing problem, such as making
sure people know how important it is to check medicine labels for
warnings about drowsiness before they get behind the wheel.
“As someone who drives racecars for a living, driver safety is an
issue that’s important to me, and that’s why I’m participating in
the “Clear to Drivesm” campaign,” said Edwards. “When I'm
driving at 180 miles per hour, I can't risk taking a medicine that makes
me drowsy. I choose CLARITIN® because it gives me powerful, non-drowsy
relief from my worst allergy symptoms.”

"Clear to Drivesm" campaign, visit cleartodrive.com.
