2013 NSCS Coca-Cola 600 Final Practice Session Speeds

Once again it was Kasey Kahne showing the fastest way around Charlotte Motor Speedway, as Kahne ran a lap speed of 188.594 mph, to take the top position on the speed chart during the final NSCS Coca-Cola 600 practice session. Kurt Busch, with a lap speed of 188.219 mph, was second fastest on the speed chart, and was followed by pole-sitter Denny Hamlin (188.055 mph) who was third fastest, Matt Kenseth (188.003) fourth and Greg Biffle (187.891) was fifth fastest. History has said in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) this season that if Kyle Busch was competing, he would win. That statistic held its value Saturday afternoon at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway, when Busch on his 10-year NASCAR Nationwide Series debut anniversary weekend scored his seventh NNS victory at the 1.5-mile oval in the 32nd-annual History 300. Busch, driving the No. 54 Monster Energy Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing netted his sixth win in 10 races and his fifth Nationwide win in his last six races and 57th of his NNS career.
