Jimmie Johnson just accomplished what no one is NASCAR has ever done in history. He has won four consecutive points championships in NASCAR’s Sprint Cup and in doing so he has established himself as the most dominant driver this decade. On Sunday, Johnson became just the fourth driver in history to win four or more championships, Earnhardt, Petty and Gordon being the other three drivers. Johnson, Mark Martin and Jeff Gordon are all teammates and finished one, two, three, and they became the first team in history to do so. So where does Johnson rank among the all-time best? Personally, I think he would be right behind Richard Petty and Dale Earnhradt as the best NASCAR drivers ever.
