Milwaukee Mile officials refer to their impending event as “Wisconsin’s Biggest Motorsports Weekend.”
Quite frankly, it’s hard to argue.
The top NASCAR teams will participate in the Copart 200 Truck race at 8 p.m. Friday, which is followed by the NorthernTool.com 250 at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at America’s Legendary Oval.
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series standouts like Kyle Busch and Carl Edwards, who won the event in Milwaukee last season, will be trekking cross-country from an event in Sonoma, Calf., in order to compete against more than three dozen rivals in a race that will be televised on ESPN2.
Lower Terrace tickets are priced at $26 for Saturday’s festivities, which feature NASCAR Nationwide Series practice and qualifying, a 100-mile Star Mazda Championship open-wheel event and the popular 250-mile NASCAR race that night. Other price ranges also are available.
