Race Fan Wins All Expense Paid Trip to 2009 ARCA RE/MAX Series Championship Awards Banquet

TOLEDO, Ohio (November 4, 2009) – Congratulations to Bob Cox of Conneaut, Ohio, the recipient of an all-expense paid trip for two to the 2009 ARCA RE/MAX Series Championship Awards Banquet, which takes place in Covington, Kentucky, on December 5, 2009.

Cox was among thousands of race fans who logged onto arcaracing.com’s social networking website, ARCA Nation, this season and cast a vote for the 2009 National Speed Sport News ARCA Most Popular Driver. The 2009 National Speed Sport News ARCA Most Popular Driver will be revealed at the 2009 Championship Awards Banquet and Cox will be among the attendees at the black-tie function.

“Bob Cox is the perfect example of the short-track fan,” said Corinne Economaki, publisher of National Speed Sport News. “Mr. Cox supports both ARCA stock car racing and National Speed Sport News. Attending the banquet will be a real treat for Mr. Cox as he can meet his ARCA racing heroes in person. ARCA and National Speed Sport News have a long relationship and we’re happy to be a part of, and cover, all forms of motorsports.”

Cox’s Grand Prize Package includes roundtrip airfare for two, ground transportation, two night’s hotel accommodations, and two tickets to the ARCA RE/MAX Series Championship Awards Banquet. Cox will be formally introduced at the annual ARCA RE/MAX Series Press Conference on Saturday afternoon, December 5.

The Stars of ARCA, 1953-2009, will be honored at the 2009 ARCA RE/MAX Series Championship Awards Banquet in Covington, Kentucky on Saturday night, December 5. The banquet is open to the public and tickets are available by contacting Shalene Williams at the ARCA Office (734) 847-6726.
