2014 NNS Drive to Stop Diabetes 300 First Practice Session Speeds

Second fastest with a lap speed of 122.318 m.p.h., was Matt Kenseth, followed by Kyle Larson (122.007 m.p.h.) who was third, Kevin Harvick (121.798) fourth and Cale Conley (121.582) was fifth fastest. Series Sunoco Rookie of the Year (ROTY) contender, Chase Elliott (121.558 m.p.h.) placed the sixth fastest lap, while Brian Scott (121.451) was seveth, James Buescher (121.389) eighth, ROTY contender Ty Dillon (121.228) ninth and Regan Smith (121.221) rounds out the top-ten fastest in the session.
