This contest will be run in cooperation with BKR sponsors Cequent Consumer Products and Cooper Standard. The contest will start on Monday, January 30th and run through Friday, February 3rd. To be eligible, fans will need to do the following:

Have a Twitter account

- Re-tweet/answer the Tweet from Brad in which he asks fans to predict his finishing position in the race; and

- Follow Keselowski (@keselowski), Cequent’s Reese Towpower brand (@ReeseTowpower) and Cooper Standard (@CooperStandard) on Twitter.

At the conclusion of the contest period, all the fans who have responded to Keselowski’s Tweet and are followers of @keselowski, @ReeseTowpower and @CooperStandard will be entered into a pool. From this pool, 5,000 Twitter handles will be drawn. Decals of these 5,000 Twitter handles will be featured on the bed of the No. 19 BKR RAM driven by Keselowski. Subsequently, an additional ten (10) Twitter handles will be drawn. The ten (10) grand prize winners will have their Twitter handles prominently featured on the sides of the Truck (five (5) Twitter handles per side).

All of the contest winners will receive an autographed photo of Keselowski with the Truck. The grand prize winners will receive a personalized autographed photo of the Truck with Keselowski standing next to their respective Twitter handles, as well as BKR team gear. Additionally, throughout the week of the contest, every 72nd re-tweet (up to 5,000 re-tweets) of Keselowski’s contest-launching Tweet will be eligible for a prize. Prizes will include gear and merchandise from BKR, Cequent, and Cooper Standard. The number “72″ represents the combined number of all the Dodges and RAMs Keselowski owns and/or drives in NASCAR’s top three series (No. 2 in the Sprint Cup Series, No. 22 in the Nationwide Series, and No. 19 and No. 29 in the Camping World Truck Series).

The contest winners will be announced on Wednesday, February 8th. The grand prize winners will be announced on Friday, February 10th. In the weeks leading up to the race, Keselowski will Tweet renderings of the Truck, photos of his driving uniform, photos of the contest winners’ Twitter handles being applied to the Truck, and the finalized Truck as it will roll onto the track in Daytona.

“During the off-season, I have been putting a lot of thought into how to further engage with the fans,” said Keselowski. “Social media, and Twitter in particular, is an important tool for NASCAR, for the drivers, and for the sponsors. This contest is designed to bring all three of these elements together in way that can uniquely reward the fans. It will be cool to, in a way, carry all of the prize winners with me in the race. Hopefully they will get a thrill out of being on the Truck and having their Twitter handles appear on TV. Twitter represents a fun way for me to communicate with our sport’s fans. Hopefully I can take that fun to the next level and bring all of them to victory lane In Daytona!”

The NextEra Energy Resources 250 will air live on SPEED Channel, Friday, February 24th at 7:30 pm ET. For more information, please visit www.bradracing.com or follow Keselowski on Twitter @keselowski.

Mooresville, NC 1/26/12- The 2011 season was a landmark year for Gary Crooks and his Crooks Racing company, but with the current off season coming to a close and the focus to the 2012 racing in full swing it looks as if 2012 could be even bigger and better. The recent purchase of a new 9,000 square foot shop in Mooresville, North Carolina, the first GRIP Seminar in Portland, Maine, and the expansion of three driver development cars for Brad Keselowski Racing (BKR) under the Crooks Racing banner are all headlines leading up to the start of the 2012 racing year.

“Last year was an awesome year for Crooks Racing as a company and it showed at the race track. When I started Crooks Racing years ago I had a goal in mind on where I wanted to be as a company and so far I have been more than happy on the direction we are going and what’s to come here in 2012,” said Crooks when discussing his upcoming year of racing.

The new Crooks Racing headquarters, which features two surface plates, two car lifts, and ample office space, is already in full swing prepping for the 2012 Speedfest event taking place this weekend at Watermelon Capital Speedway in Cordele, Georgia. All new BKR development driver Austin Theriault will pilot the #29 BKR Checkered Flag Foundation Dodge Charger in the 200 lap event. In addition to Theriault, Nate Caruth will also join the BKR stable competing out of the Crooks Racing shop with sophomore super late model driver Landon Cling also returning to the fold. Both Nate Caruth and Cling will compete for the PASS South series championship title in 2012.

“I’m looking forward to going to the track with all three up-and-coming drivers from BKR, because I really get to take the opportunity to teach them what they need to learn to compete at this level of racing. We may not go out and win races right away, but the whole teaching aspect of this business I really enjoy,” said Crooks. “On the other hand I’ll be back with more seasoned guys like Trey Mitchell, Lonnie Sommerville, and Scott Mulkern with hopes of fine tuning all of their programs to win multiple races throughout the season. It really becomes the best of both worlds for a guy like me in this business.”

This off season Crooks also announced a partnership with RE Suspension owner Jason Enders to form GRIP Seminars to showcase in depth racecar chassis setup and fine tuning for the everyday short track racer. The first seminar of its kind took place from January 19-22nd in Portland, Maine with several topics such as chassis setup, aerodynamics, spotting, and track tuning all being covered throughout the four day event. The event was beyond successful as drivers and teams from all over the country and Canada participated in the inaugural GRIP Seminar event. The success of the event already has future GRIP Seminar dates and locations being discussed and will be announced sometime in the future.

Keselowski will drive in the season opener at Daytona plus the races at Kansas, Charlotte, Kentucky, Pocono and Bristol, Tenn.

Jeff Stankiewicz will serve as Keselowski’s crew chief. Doug Randolph will serve as crew chief for Parker Kligerman, who drives BKM’s No. 29 Dodge in the Truck Series.

“It’s starting to come together,” Keselowski said Saturday afternoon after his Preseason Thunder test ended at Daytona International Speedway. “I’m roughly planning to do six races, but I’d prefer not to drive it, to be quite honest.

“But for Parker’s sake, I think it’s important to get a good evaluation because this is a make or break year for Parker. We need a good evaluation of where our equipment’s at throughout different periods of the year so we can understand whether or not he’s making the most of our opportunity.

“Before you can say what the most of an opportunity is you have to define what the opportunity is. Are we giving him a good opportunity? Are we giving him an average opportunity? I don’t have an answer to that and I think we’ll have a much better indicator if we’re able to achieve that.”

To do that, Keselowski was compelled to shuffle his deck slightly, particularly when Randolph became available.

Kile, a Westlake, La.-native, began his career racing go-karts at local racetracks throughout his home state of Louisiana. He progressed through the Modifieds and late-models ranks, capturing numerous wins and awards along the way.

He made his NASCAR debut in 2009, driving a partial schedule in the Camping World Series for Brad Keselowski Racing. In six starts he accumulated three top-15 finishes.

Mikey Kile

In 2010, Mikey ran the full ARCA Racing Series schedule, capturing his first series victory at Michigan International Speedway along with two pole awards, seven top-five and 15 top-10 finishes and finishing 5th in Series points.

“I had a good year in 2010, but I believe that we have the pieces in place to compete for the 2012 ARCA championship”, stated Kile. “Andy has done a great job in putting together a quality team and I am really looking forward to the season opener in Daytona”.

Andy Belmont Racing is coming off a strong year in 2011 winning on the dirt at Springfield, finishing fifth in ARCA points as well as capturing the prestigious Bill France 4 Crown Award. The Langhorne PA native believes that Mikey Kile may be the last piece to the championship puzzle.

“This is definitely an exciting time for ABR”, added Andy Belmont. “I have watched Mikey progress each season as a driver and am confident that we will be in the hunt all year. I am also proud that he will be driving our No.14 Ford this season. The tradition of that number goes back to my days as a Modified driver in Pennsylvania”.

The marketing and business alliances will see Cequent and Cooper Standard as the primary sponsors for the 2012 season, each taking one-half of the 2012 races. Both companies will also receive partnership assets, entitlements, and benefits throughout the season, including exposure via Keselowski personally in both NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and Nationwide Series competition for Penske Racing. Parker Kligerman, a Penske Racing development driver, will return for his second full-season with the BKR team to pilot the No. 29 Cequent/Cooper Standard entry.

“This is a historic day for Brad Keselowski Racing and I have a great deal of personal pride in making this announcement,” said team owner Brad Keselowski. “To have both Cequent and Cooper Standard join our program in such a significant way provides us with the platform to compete for the championship in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Both companies have very specific business and marketing objectives for the program and everyone at BKR will work to exceed Cequent’s and Cooper Standard’s expectations at the race track and in the marketplace.”

Cequent’s sponsorship of Keselowski and BKR, which also includes primary sponsorship for 15 Truck Series races in 2013 and 18 Truck Series races in 2014, is designed to drive exposure for its brands such as Draw-Tite and Reese Towpower, strengthen relationships with retail partners, and generate new business opportunities.

“We see Brad Keselowski and his team as terrific marketing fits for our company, its brands, and products,” stated Tom Benson, President of Cequent Performance Products. “The NASCAR Truck Series audience is undoubtedly our target market and Brad extends Cequent’s reach to the NASCAR Cup and Nationwide audiences. This program also presents some meaningful business opportunities for both our Performance Products and Consumer Products divisions. The partnership has all the elements to be a complete success for Cequent and for Brad’s team. We very much look forward to seeing the No. 29 Truck take the track in 2012.”

Cooper Standard’s expanded relationship with Brad Keselowski’s No. 29 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series entry in 2012 mirrors its broader commitment to the automotive aftermarket as the company looks to widen its offering of innovative products to the aftermarket. The company first worked with BKR in 2011 for three races.

“Brad and his team continually seek innovative solutions to perform at the highest level,” said Jim McElya, chairman and CEO, Cooper Standard. “We feel that this commitment to innovation, combined with his Michigan heritage and dedication to helping the local community, make Brad and his team ideal partners to help Cooper Standard further expand in the aftermarket and specialty vehicle markets.”

“I’m pleased to have Cooper Standard back on the Truck for Texas and Homestead,” said team owner Brad Keselowski. “They’ve been a great new partner since Michigan earlier this year and I know Parker and the BKR team will do all that we can to get Cooper Standard to victory lane in these last two races of the season.” Cooper Standard’s affiliation with Keselowski and Brad Keselowski Racing originated earlier in the season around the Michigan International Speedway NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race. (KHI) 10-Year Anniversary Logo Thumbnail

Kevin Harvick’s decision to no longer field teams in NASCAR’s Camping World Truck Series surprised some of his fellow drivers Friday while others said they were concerned about the signal it sends about the 17-year-old circuit.

“I think we’ve all seen it for the past few years that we’re all in tough times,” said truck team owner Kyle Busch. “I mean, when Kyle Busch has a hard time finding a sponsor for his truck team when he is driving, let alone anybody else, it’s certainly tough. It seems like the only time you can really get anybody to come in and foot the bill is if they’re wealthy.”

Brad Keselowski, who also owns a truck series team, said Harvick’s decision was “certainly discouraging.”

“But I’m sure if you looked back at Kevin when he was just starting up there was a mass exodus of owners at that time period, too,” Keselowski continued. “It’s interesting to watch how the sport is going to grow and react to a loss of car owners like Kevin ’cause they’re important and he’s done a lot for the series that he’s been in, whether that’s truck or Nationwide. Hopefully, it sends the right message where we learn from it and grow as a sport. I feel like that, even though it’s a lot of work, there’s some personal and business growth that I am awarded for putting in those efforts.”

After five previous tries at one of his favorite race tracks, the Shelby Township, Michigan native was finally able to have all the pieces fuse together and storm to his first career ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards victory at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway.

A year later, Brent returns to the historical site with one goal in mind, defending the title. To help him in his quest, Brent has paired again with the potent Eddie Sharp Racing (ESR) for Saturday’s Pennsylvania ARCA 125.

Although Brent will be with a completely different team, manufacturer and crew chief, the 24-year old strongly believes that he has all the tools to back-up his win from last season.

“I’ve been waiting for this race for several months now and it’s finally here,” said Brent, who also piloted an entry for ESR at Michigan International Speedway where he finished 11th. “I love road course racing but this undoubtedly is one of my favorite oval tracks. Well, I guess you can’t really call it an oval, but it’s one that is at the top of my list.”

Indeed, the road racing ace cannot refer Pocono (Pa.) Raceway as your typical oval. Often called the “Tricky Triangle”, the track’s unique layout offers some resemblance of a road course which could partly explain why Brent has yet to foil at the 2.5-mile track.

In six races, Brent has never finished worse than seventh (twice) and has recorded two top-fives and six top-10s overall. In his inaugural ARCA debut at Pocono, Brent impressed many in the garage with an outstanding third place qualifying run then driving for fellow Michigan native Brad Keselowski.

“I’ve always raced well at Pocono, it’s been my type of track,” sounded Brent, who will drive the No. 6 Eddie Sharp Racing Toyota Camry Saturday afternoon. “A lot of the drivers come up to me for advice around there and that’s extremely humbling. I’m taking everything I’ve learned over to ESR this weekend with the goal of putting this team back in victory circle. It will not only do a lot for me, but I know it would be big for them too.”

Guiding Brent this weekend will be veteran crew chief Trip Bruce. Bruce, who has played several leadership roles at ESR undeniably, has the knowledge and experience to put the Michigander in the hunt for his second career win.

“Everyone at Eddie Sharp Racing has been really easy to work with,” continued Brent. “I know it may be a little awkward at first working with Trip, simply because we’ve never worked together before. Though, everyone has told me a lot of great things about him, so I’m not worried or anything, I’m just anxious to get going and being competitive right off the truck.”

With sponsorship still difficult to acquire as the economy continues to battle shaky grounds, Brent is also utilizing the 13th race of the season as a way of auditioning not only to potential sponsors but other teams in the racing industry; that he does have what it takes to get the job done.

“It’s hard being a racecar driver and having to watch a lot of this from the sidelines,” Brent explained. “I’ve been fortunate enough to do some spotting and act as a driver coach this year, so that’s been fun; but I’m focused on finding a way at reviving my career in a way that it will keep me at the racetrack every weekend. There’s a lot riding on Saturday’s race but there’s even more to gain from competing in it too.”

For Pocono, Robb Brent Racing (RBR) will continue to support his two favorite charities. Macomb Charitable Foundation and Animal Aid Foundation will adorn the No. 6 Toyota Camry like they did in the RainEater Wiper Blades 200 at Michigan International Speedway in June.

The Macomb Charitable Foundation (MCF) is a group of volunteers who seek and assist the homeless and poverty stricken children in Macomb County, Michigan. They assist with things that other agencies cannot.

The Animal Aid Foundation is a volunteer-based non-profit charitable fundraising organization dedicated to finding lifelong loving homes for lost or abandoned animals, working together with other no-kill shelters, public donations and corporate support.

“It’s important to promote some of the places I like to support on or off the track,” explained Brent. “Both of these charities are very important to me and my family. Even though they are based in Michigan, we’re hoping to spread their word through the car at Pocono and hopefully drum up some additional support.”

Before strapping in his No. 6 Toyota Camry on Saturday afternoon, Brent will cheer on his fellow ESR teammate Justin Lofton in his No. 6 CollegeCompete.com Toyota Tundra who will be competing in the Good Sam RV Emergency Road Service 125, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series contest that serves as the preamble for ARCA’s second go-around with Pocono (Pa.) Raceway this season.

Prior to joining Eddie Sharp Racing, Brent participated in the ARCA Racing Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driving for NASCAR driver Brad Keselowski and Brad Keselowski Racing. Most recently, Brent spent the last two seasons in ARCA with Allgaier Motorsports, the 2008 championship team. In his 59 ARCA starts, Brent has acquired one win (Pocono 2010), six top-five finishes and 19 top-10 efforts. Brent notched his career best qualifying effort of second at Kentucky Speedway in 2008. He has led the ARCA pack five times for 55 laps. His best finish in the NCWTS occurred at Nashville Superspeedway in his inaugural truck debut where he finished 21st after qualifying 26th. The road racing ace also made his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut in 2010 driving for RAB Racing at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.

No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Challenger News and Notes

· This Week’s Challenger… The Penske Racing Discount Tire Dodge Challenger team will use chassis PRS-221 during Friday’s Feed the Children 300 at Kentucky Speedway. This is a brand new chassis to the No. 22 fleet.

· The No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Challenger in 2011… After 17 events, Brad Keselowski and the reigning champion No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Challenger team are ranked ninth in the 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) owner point standings. The team is coming off a 17th-place finish in the Subway Jalapeno 250 last weekend at Daytona International Speedway.

· Kentucky Rewind… During his 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series championship season, Keselowski entered the race at Kentucky Speedway with a 196-point lead over Kyle Busch in the series standings. Following his third-place finish – one of his series-record 26 top-five results during the season – he expanded his lead to 272 points over Carl Edwards in the title chase.

Keselowski Speedway Stats… In 90 speedway starts in the Nationwide Series, Keselowski has accumulated five wins, 38 top-five finishes, 54 top-10 results and four pole awards. In addition, he has led the field for 1,006 laps at tracks between one and two miles in length.

Truck Series… In 2005, Keselowski had one of his best NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races for the family-owned K Automotive team at Kentucky Speedway. After starting the race from the 27th position, Keselowski made his way to the front to lead four laps before finishing 18th. This weekend, Keselowski will return to the truck series as owner of the No. 29 Penske Truck Rental Ram driven by Penske Racing teammate Parker Kligerman.

Follow Brad on Twitter… Fans can follow Keselowski on Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/keselowski. Followers can get a glimpse inside his everyday life while keeping up-to-date on the latest Cup Series and Nationwide Series news for the Penske Racing driver.

“I’ve really enjoyed racing at Kentucky over the last few years. It’s hard to believe that I only have three (Nationwide Series) starts there in my career. I’ve been able to run up front in every race, but we just haven’t been able to find a way to get to Victory Lane. Hopefully we can change that on Friday night. Our Discount Tire Dodges have been fast, but I think everyone will feel better once we get that first win of the season under our belts. The fans always come out and support the racing at Kentucky and that makes it a race that I look forward to.”

Brad Keselowski on being a team owner in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series

“I’m a firm believer in giving back to the sport that has given so much to me and my family. That’s why I started Brad Keselowski Racing (BKR). When I’m done with my driving career I want to have left the sport in better shape than when I started in it. I want to give young drivers, like Parker, the same opportunities that I got when I was trying to break in this sport. I’m proud of what we’ve built at BKR. We’ve had fast trucks this year. It would be very special for me to pick up a win in the truck series as a team owner.”

Crew chief Todd Gordon on preparing a car for Kentucky Speedway

“Over the last couple of years, Kentucky has taken on some characteristics that make it a little different than the other 1.5-mile tracks we visit. Turns 1 and 2 are very bumpy, especially on the bottom. You need to have smooth ride quality to take the fast way around the track. That also means a second groove will develop as the race progresses because a lot of drivers will avoid those bumps. The track gains a lot of grip as the sun goes down and it becomes very fast. I think it’s a track suited perfectly to Brad’s driving style.”

Upon the conclusion of the 100-lap event, Brent offered his hometown fans and sponsors a well-earned finish in the No. 2 AutoDealerAds.com Toyota Camry.

Brent, who after running two full time seasons in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards took a brief sabbatical this season to regroup his racing career announced a two-race deal with the potent Eddie Sharp Racing (ESR) which launched in Brent’s backyard at the two-mile oval of MIS.

With AutoDealerAds.com stepping up to the plate as the primary sponsor of Brent’s first ARCA event at the wheel of a Toyota Camry, the road racing ace was looking to use the eighth race of the season to strut his stuff.

In the lone practice session on Thursday afternoon, Brent who reunited with crew chief Dave Leiner worked on the chassis setup on their No. 2 AutoDealerAds.comToyota Camry which landed the Denver, North Carolina-based team 20th in the overall rundown.

Not discouraged by the practice effort, Brent gathered his thoughts with Leiner and the two put their heads together to put a qualifying setup that would be both fast but not take away from the team’s overall plan of a healthy race setup.

In time trials Friday morning, Brent maneuvered his ESR machine around the Irish Hills track in 40.147 seconds or 179.34 miles per hour landing 22nd in the starting lineup. Comfortable with the car’s handling, Brent knew his car was setup for racing conditions.

At the start of the RainEater Wiper Blades 200, Brent patiently began moving through the field. Tucked in with ESR teammate Bryan Silas, the two tried to use the draft to manhandle their way into the top-20. The duo would be stalled on lap three when the first yellow flag of the day waived.

Restarting on lap 10, Brent would hold steady in his No. 2 AutoDealerAds.com Toyota Camry up the ladder during the first solid green flag run of the day. By lap 20, Brent had found himself locked in the 22nd position. By the time the third yellow of the day waived on lap 30, Brent had moved up to the 20th position.

Four tires, fuel and a chassis adjustment was the call from the pit box by Leiner. A solid pit stop by the ESR crew re-entered their driver 13th in the battle.

After another caution flag, Brent remained safely in the top-15 but had his sights set on entering the top-10. By the halfway mark, lap 50, the part-time NASCAR driver hoisted the 11th position.

When Tom Hessert and Maryeve Dufault crashed on lap 52, the yellow flag conditions returned offering a perfect time for Leiner to bring his driver back to pit road to top off the fuel in case the race would stretch into a long green-flag run.

Restarting 13th, Brent would quietly maintain a spot inside the top-15 but with 35 laps remaining, the former Pocono ARCA winner would nearly avoid disaster when the No. 42 of Clay Rogers spun directly in-front of the No. 2 AutoDealerAds.com Toyota Camry, the two made slight contact before the No. 23 of Levi Youster joined the mess also making minimal contact with the two colleagues.

Under the caution, Brent brought his machine to the attention of his ESR crew for damage control. With the thumbs up on the overall condition of Brent’s automobile, they sent their driver back into the race.

Over the final 25 laps, Brent would slice and dice his way from his 15th position and survive a green-white-checkered finish to claim the 11th position.

“I had a lot of fun,” said Brent. “I appreciate the opportunity and support from Eddie Sharp, Eddie Sharp Racing and AutoDealerAds.com for allowing me to race at my home track with a really good race car. We didn’t quite have enough for those leaders, but we had a competitive car and we learned a lot together that will help us going to Pocono in August.”

Ironically, Brent’s 11th place lead-lap finish on Friday was the third time in the last four races where he captured the exact same position. Last June, Brent delivered a 10th place outing for Allgaier Motorsports.

Brent would personally like to thank his family and friends who attended Friday’s contest. In addition to his duties at the track, Brent participated in two autograph sessions. On Thursday night, Brent joined a slew of ARCA drivers in Downtown Brooklyn, while on race day Brent spent time with children from DeVos Children’s Hospital and the Make A Wish Foundation.

The Michigander also supported his two charities during the race week, the Macomb Charitable Foundation (MCF) and the Animal Aid Foundation.

Next up for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards is a return to Winchester (Ind.) Speedway for the running of the Winchester ARCA 200 presented by Federated Auto Parts. Brent will return to ARCA competition in August and will look to defend his title at the 2.5-mile oval of Pocono (Pa.) Raceway in the Pennsylvania ARCA 125 on August 6th in the No. 2 Eddie Sharp Racing Toyota Camry.

Last week, the Shelby Township Michigan native announced a two-race deal with the potent Eddie Sharp Racing (ESR) beginning with round eight of the season at the two-mile speedway. After piloting Chevrolet Impalas, Dodge Chargers and Ford Fusions, Brent will experience the craftiness of a Toyota Camry in ESR’s familiar No. 2 entry.

To add frosting to the opportunity, Brent will reunite with former crew chief Dave Leiner who masterfully crafted the part-time NASCAR driver to his inaugural ARCA victory last year at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway and will call the shots for the No. 2 AutoDealerAds.com Toyota Camry.

“I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity that has been given to me this week,” said Brent, who will make his 58th career ARCA start in Friday’s contest. “I cannot thank Eddie (Sharp, team owner), Dave (Leiner) and the folks at AutoDealerAds.com enough for stepping up to the plate and making a dream for this season become a reality.”

Knowing that he has just two planned races announced thus far in 2011, the recent Northwood University College graduate knows that he has to make a statement in his fifth start at MIS. In four previous starts, Brent has finished no worse than 16th and has three consecutive top-15 efforts including a 10th place run last June after running third until a late caution. This week though, Brent knows that he’ll have the equipment and expertise that could propel him to his second career ARCA victory in his own backyard.

“Michigan is a very wide track, so it provides some great racing not only for the fans but the competitors too,” sounded Brent. “I’ve seen how strong Eddie Sharp Racing has been at MIS over the last couple of years, so I’m anxious to get behind the seat for myself and enjoy this opportunity of a lifetime. My goal on Friday is to run smart and strong which hopefully will put our No. 2 AutoDealAds.com Toyota Camry in contention for the win.”

In addition to AutoDealerAds.com, Michigan’s largest on-line auto dealer inventory website, Robb Brent Racing will promote Macomb Charitable Foundation and Animal Aid Foundation on his race car.

Our hope by having them on the car this weekend is to make other Michigan residents aware of some of the great contributions that both of these organizations make to society.”

In his 58 ARCA starts, Brent has acquired one win (Pocono 2010), six top-five finishes and 19 top-10 efforts.

The RainEater Wiper Blades 200 (100 laps / 200 miles) is the eighth of 19 events on the 2011 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards schedule. The 30th ARCA race at the Irish Hills track is a two-day show. Practice begins Thursday, June 16 with a one hour and half practice session planned from 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Menards Pole by Ansell qualifying is slated to begin on race day, Friday, June 17th at 10:00 a.m. The field will take the green flag later in the day shortly after 5:00 p.m. The event will be televised live on SPEED. Live timing and scoring throughout the 1,320th race for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards since it was formed in 1953 will be available through the ARCA Racing Network (ARN) online at arcaracing.com presented by ARCANation.com. All times are local.

The finish represents Kligerman’s best-ever NCWTS result.

Kligerman started sixth after posting a qualifying lap of 30.288 seconds, or 178.28 mph around the high-banked one and half mile oval. This is Kligerman’s his best qualifying effort of the season to date. The 20-year-old moved into the top-five at the start and raced his way toward the leaders. Battling a loose condition, the Brad Keselowski Racing (BKR) crew would tune on their truck all night long through 10 separate caution periods.

The Westport, CT native would make the most of each of the restarts, picking up as many as six positions on one restart to keep the BKR #29 at the front of the field all night long. After battling eventual race winner Ron Hornaday, Jr. Kligerman would settle into the third position, where he would run for most of the last 40 laps of the race. After ceding the third position to the No. 2 of David Mayhew with only a few laps remaining, the final caution flag was displayed at an opportune time.

Kligerman was sitting fourth for the green-white-checkered flag that decided Friday night’s Winstar Casino 400 at TMS and he was right where he wanted to be. “I knew the No. 13 truck was going to start in front of me on the top line, “said Kligerman, “and I knew he was going to get in front of the No. 33 truck somehow. All I was going to have to do is follow him to the front”.

It worked out just that way. Kligerman made another great restart and took over the third position in Turn 2. Unfortunately for Jonny Sauter, he made just a little too good of a restart and would be black flagged for an illegal lane change prior to the start-finish line. Sauter’s misfortune became Kligerman’s good fortune, as it put his No. 29 Penske Truck Rental Ram into second-place, where he would stay to the checkered flag.

“The Brad Keselowski Racing team was great throughout the night”, said Kligerman. “We had awesome pit stops, and Jeff Stankowickz did a great job keeping the Penske Truck Rental Ram ahead of the track conditions. I have to give a big thank you to Brad Keselowski and Penske Truck Rental for this opportunity. We had great restarts all night, said Kligerman. I am a little disappointed with that last restart. I think I could have raced the No. 33 for the win, but I spun my tires a bit. In the end, the No. 13’s loss was our gain. It was great to finish second, and I’m looking forward to keeping this momentum up at Kentucky and getting our first win as soon as we can”.

With the strong result, Kligerman closed the gap to Rookie of the Year points leader Cole Whitt, and he poised to break into the top-five in the overall championship. With a month long break before the next race at Kentucky Speedway, the Brad Keselowski Racing team will work to improve upon its trucks and be stronger through the second half of the season. Be sure to catch Parker Kligerman in action on July 7 at Kentucky Speedway in the UNOH 225, 8:00 p.m. ET on SPEEDTV.

(May 13, 2011) - Rookie Parker Kligerman, driver of the No. 29 Penske Truck Rental Dodge Ram for Brad Keselowski Racing (BKR), drove a near perfect 191 laps at Dover International Speedway in the Lucas Oil 200 on Friday night, before a late-race spin cost him a top-five finish, and perhaps a chance to win in the closing laps.

After qualifying ninth in the Penske Truck Rental Dodge, Kligerman felt good about his chances leading into the sixth race of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship. After the first yellow flag pit stop, the No. 29 truck was on the move, slotting into the sixth position and racing hard with the No. 88, No. 5, and No. 33 trucks for fourth position. After a caution flag, Kligerman found his way around all three trucks with a great move to the bottom of the track, as he set off toward the No. 2 truck of Cup Series star Kevin Harvick. On lap 90 Kligerman reported that the BKR Dodge Ram was a little tight in traffic and a little loose on its own. During a scheduled green flag pit stop on lap 112, the Penske Truck Rental team went to work, giving him four fresh Goodyear Wrangler tires and making a slight chassis adjustment. When the green flag pit stops cycled back through Kligerman was shown in the sixth position and he was quickly making up ground on the leaders.

A late-race caution on lap 180 resulted in Kligerman taking the race restart from the third position after his car took only two tires in pit lane. After that it was a three -truck battle between the No. 18 of Kyle Busch, the No. 60, and the No. 29 Brad Keselowski Racing Dodge. Kligerman was charging hard and gaining on the No. 60 truck for second, and pulling away from the rest of the field. Another caution would stack the trucks back up for a 10-lap dash to the finish. Starting on the second row on the inside, right behind Kyle Busch, Kligerman made a strong start and pulled alongside the No. 60 truck of Cole Whitt heading into Turn 1. He maintained that position on the back straight and stayed to the inside of the No. 60 machine as they headed into Turn 3, but at that point Kligerman lost control of the No. 29 truck and he was hit by the No. 3 of Austin Dillon as he spun through the middle of the track as he ended up making slight contact with the outside wall.

Kligerman would pit to fix the damage and rejoin the race, however he was three laps down at that point and a solid top-five day turned into a 21st-place finish for the rookie.

“Well, our finish at the Monster Mile was not indicative of the entire Penske Truck Rental Ram effort,” said Kligerman. “We were a solid top-three truck throughout the weekend and into the race. I’m so proud of the pace we showed this weekend, although we have little to show from it. I can’t wait to be back on track in Charlotte and prove our BKR team is a force to be reckoned with.”

Kligerman will be back on track this Friday, May 20, as the No. 29 Penske Truck Rental Dodge Ram and Brad Keselowski Racing will contest the Camping world Truck Series N.C. Education Lottery 200. Catch all of the action on SpeedTV at 8:00 pm ET.

Crooks will look to guide Arizona native Landon Cling to his first super late model start of his career as he begins his development process for asphalt racing.

While the 150 lap event at the track often referred to as “The Birthplace of the NASCAR Stars” will be combo’s first sniff at competition it won’t be the first time the two have worked together. Several testing sessions have went well for the two, and while expectations are record setting an achievable goal heading into this weekend’s race is definitely on the agenda.

“Our main goal for Landon is to get some laps under his belt in a racing environment and bring the car home in one piece. If we can achieve that goal the first race out together I would call it a success,” said Crooks. “Like I told him when we were testing, I want to see him manage his equipment and be able to race for whatever position he is in and not have to struggle to hold on to the handle of his race car in the closing laps.”

The PASS South Easter Bunny 150 kicks off Saturday with practice starting at 1:30 pm followed by qualifying at 5pm. At approximately 8 pm the green flag will wave on the 2011 season for Landon Cling and his Brad Keselowski Racing team headed by Gary Crooks.
