2014 NSCS Quaker State 400 Final Practice Session Speeds

Second quickest in the session was Matt Kenseth with a lap speed of 182.309mph, followed by series Rookie of the Year (ROTY) candidate, Kyle Larson (182.088mph) who was third, Jeff Gordon (181.941) fourth and Joey Logano (181.677) was fifth. Rounding out the top-ten quickest drivers in the "Happy Hour" (final) practice were Danica Patrick (181.488mph) who was sixth, AJ Allmendinger (181.129) seventh, Kevin Harvick (180.862) eighth, Kyle Busch (180.826) ninth, and Denny Hamlin (180.693) was tenth quickest.(Note: Tony Stewart also ran the identical lap speed as Hamlin and was recorded 11th).
