No. 33 Rheem Chevrolet Impala

NASCAR Nationwide Series Race 7 of 34 – Talladega Superspeedway

BOWYER BACK FOR SUPERSPEEDWAY ACTION: Clint Bowyer will climb back behind the wheel of the No. 33 Rheem Chevrolet Impala this weekend at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway for the first time since the NASCAR Nationwide Series season opener at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway in February. Bowyer, who sat on the pole, finished a close second to Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) teammate Tony Stewart in the first race of 2011. The KHI one-two finish, the third for the company in Nationwide Series competition, also landed the organization in the record books. Stewart edged the No. 33 by 0.007 seconds, the closest finish in the Nationwide Series at Daytona and the third closest in series history.

WINLESS AT DEGA: The Emporia, Kan. native has seven starts at the 2.66-mile Alabama track in the Nationwide Series with one top-five and two top-10 finishes. Bowyer started from the pole once (2004) and has a best finish of fifth (2006). This weekend will mark Bowyer’s first Nationwide Series race at the track with KHI and he’ll be on a mission to erase his goose egg in the Talladega win column.

KHI SUCCESS: Over the last eight seasons, the KHI stable has fielded cars between six different drivers at Talladega: Tony Stewart (three races), Burney Lamar, Bobby Labonte, Cale Gale, Ryan Newman and KHI co-owner Kevin Harvick. In total, the organization has posted four top-five and four top-ten finishes, along with a victory from Labonte behind the wheel of the No. 77 KHI Chevrolet in 2007.

CHASSIS HISTORY: The No. 33 Rheem team will utilize chassis No. 067 this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway. This is the same chassis the team competed with in the season-opening event at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway in February. In that event, Bowyer drove the No. 33 machine to a second-place finish.

PREVIOUS RACE RECAP: Paul Menard took to the driver’s seat of the No. 33 Menards Chevrolet Impala last weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. In his first Nationwide Series start of the season and his first start with KHI, Menard qualified the No. 33 Chevrolet in the fifth position and drove to a third-place finish. The solid performance pushes the KHI team closer to the Owner’s Point lead. The No. 33 is in third place, one point out of first.

BOWYER’S THOUGHTS ON TALLADEGA:

What are your thoughts going into this weekend’s race at Talladega Superspeedway?

“We were so close to winning the race at Daytona back in February. The No. 33 Rheem Chevrolet was super fast. We started from the pole and had a great run. We finished second and it was cool that KHI won with [Tony] Stewart but I really wanted to win that race. I’ll have great teammates in Kevin Harvick and Elliott Sadler this weekend. I’m really looking forward to being back in the No. 33 KHI car and hopefully I’ll get the win this time.”

About Rheem:

No. 4 Armour Vienna Sausages Chevrolet Impala

NASCAR Nationwide Series Race 7 of 34 – Talladega Superspeedway

HUNGRY FOR A NATIONWIDE WIN: Kevin Harvick heads to Talladega Superspeedway in an attempt to capture his first NASCAR Nationwide Series victory at the famed 2.66-mile racetrack. Over the past 11 years Harvick has made six appearances at Talladega in the series, five for current NASCAR Sprint Cup Series car owner Richard Childress and one in his own equipment under the Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) banner. Harvick has posted two top-five and three top-10 finishes at the superspeedway, with a personal best finish of second in 2006, the same year he won his second series championship.

NATIONWIDE SERIES SUCCESS In the last eight seasons at Talladega, the KHI stable has fielded cars for six different drivers: Tony Stewart (three races), Burney Lamar, Bobby Labonte, Cale Gale, Ryan Newman and KHI co-owner Harvick. In total, the team has posted four top-five and four top-ten finishes, along with a victory with Labonte behind the wheel of the No. 77 KHI Chevrolet in 2007. Overall KHI has led 113 laps between the eight races at the superspeedway.

Harvick can take credit for 51 of the 113 (45.1%) laps led by a Nationwide Series KHI driver at Talladega. The driver, who has posted 37 career wins in the series over the past 13 years, has yet to win at this superspeedway.

MAKE A PIT STOP: Armour Vienna Sausages wants you to fuel up with Armour. Armour products fill you up while you’re on the go and keep you going all day long. Now every time you fill up with Armour Vienna Sausages, Chilli, Stew or Hash Armour will help you fill up your ride. Consumers who buy 10 dollars’ worth of Armour products can visit www.armourpitstop.com to redeem their receipt and receive a three dollar gift card to use on their next pit stop.

CHASSIS HISTORY: The No. 4 KHI team, led by crew chief Bruce Cook, will utilize chassis No. 065 this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway. This is the same chassis that Tony Stewart drove to victory lane during the DRIVE4COPD 300 at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway in February this season.

PREVIOUS RACE RECAP: The No. 4 KHI Chevrolet Impala made its last appearance in the Nationwide Series season-opening event at Daytona in February, with two-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Tony Stewart at the wheel. Stewart started the race in the 14th position before crossing the finish line in the top spot. The driver edged KHI teammate Clint Bowyer in No. 33 Rheem Chevrolet by 0.007 seconds, the closest finish in the series at Daytona and the third closest in series history. The one-two finish also gave KHI its third one-two finish in the Nationwide Series competition.

HARVICK’S THOUGHTS ON TALLADEGA:

What are your thoughts going into the Nationwide race at Talladega?

“I have always really liked the bigger tracks. This kind of racing is way more mental than it is physical. The No. 4 team won at Dayton in this car so I’m looking forward to this weekend. Our superspeedway program continues to get better with each and every race. I’ve found success at Talladega in the Cup Series winning last fall, and I’m hoping to continue KHI’s success on the superspeedways in 2011.”

No. 32 Dollar General Toyota

Iowa Speedway

U.S. Cellular 250

August 1, 2009

Notes of Interest:

· Ickler makes debut in No. 32 Dollar General Toyota! Although he practiced the No. 32 Dollar General Toyota at O’Reilly Raceway Park, this weekend marks Brian Ickler’s first of two starts for Braun Racing. Ickler joins Brian Vickers, David Reutimann, Reed Sorenson and Jacques Villeneuve to round out the talented cast of drivers in the No. 32 Camry.

· Ickler Previous Winner at Iowa Speedway! While most Nationwide Series (NNS) drivers will see Iowa Speedway for the first time this weekend, Ickler is no stranger to the 0.875-mile track. He has made two previous starts in the NASCAR Camping World East Series (NCWSE), winning the 2008 East/West Showdown and finishing second to Kyle Busch in this season’s event. His qualifying statistics aren’t too shabby either. He started the 2008 event from the fifth spot and this season’s Showdown from the outside pole position.

· Second Career NNS Start for Ickler: He made his NNS debut at Phoenix International Raceway (November, 2008). This season, Ickler has also spent time behind the wheel of the No. 51 and No. 15 Toyota Tundras in the Camping World Truck Series.

· Owner AND Driver: This 23-year-old knows what it’s like to work hard and drive hard. After finding success in the Camping World West Series, Ickler moved from San Diego to Mooresville, N.C., where he set up shop and started his own NCWSE team, Ickler Motorsports. In 2008, he boasted three wins, three top-five and five top-10 finishes and claimed two pole positions. He also led an impressive 452 laps.

Ickler on driving Braun Racing’s No. 32 Dollar General Toyota:

“I am really excited to have the opportunity to drive for an organization like Braun Racing. The No. 32 team is very competitive, week in and week out. I was able to spend time with [crew chief] Trent Owens and the team last weekend at O’Reilly Raceway Park. I think that will definitely work to our advantage this weekend. As a driver, it was hard to get the taste of being behind the wheel and then watch the race. I am really looking forward to being able to race the Dollar General Toyota at Iowa Speedway.”

Ickler on racing at Iowa Speedway:

“I love racing at Iowa Speedway. It is a lot of fun – a fast, short-track. I think the racing this weekend is going to be great! I’ve been fortunate to have raced in the Camping World Series here and am excited to have the opportunity to race in the inaugural Nationwide Series race. I think the fans are going to get quite a show on Saturday. As for our team, I think with the combination of the Dollar General team and their strong Toyotas and my track experience, we have a really good chance at celebrating in victory lane.”

Equipment Information

The No. 32 Dollar General team will compete with chassis #024 in this weekend’s U.S. Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway.
This is the same chassis that the No. 32 team ran this season at Kentucky Speedway with Burney Lamar. He qualified the Dollar General Toyota in the 18th position and finished eighth.

(June 22, 2009) – Following torrential rains on Friday evening, the NASCAR Nationwide Series was welcomed by sunshine and perfect weather for Saturday’s NorthernTool.com 250. Burney Lamar fought a tight condition throughout the day’s events to bring the No. 32 Dollar General Toyota home in the 22nd position.

Throughout the two Saturday morning practice sessions, crew chief, Trent Owens and the Dollar General team worked to correct the tight handling that Burney Lamar continued to report. Not having run a mock qualifying lap in final practice, the team was not sure what to expect for qualifying. Lamar turned in a 30.125-second lap around “America’s Legendary Oval” to start in the 26th position.

As the sun began to set in the West Allis, Wisconsin sky and teams lined up for the 250-lap race, Burney Lamar climbed into the No. 32 Dollar General Toyota knowing that he had some work ahead of him for the night. Despite a strong start which moved him into the top-20 within the first five laps, Lamar reported that the car’s tight condition was worsening as he slid back to the 25th spot.

Drivers began to make green-flag pit stops on lap 70 with Lamar bringing the No. 32 Camry to pit road for service on lap 74. The Dollar General crew went to work and quickly changed four tires and made track bar and air pressure adjustments in addition to adding a spring rubber in the right rear. As teams cycled through the green-flag pit stops, Lamar returned to the 25th position by lap 90.

The first caution of the night came out on lap 124 when the No. 99 made contact with the wall and the No. 28 machine began to give off smoke and oil. On lap 126 Lamar came down pit road for fuel, tires and adjustments. With the car’s continued tight condition, crew chief, Trent Owens, called for wedge and air pressure adjustments.

Lamar returned to the track in the 25th position and went to work once again. He managed to gain ground and moved into the 24th spot by lap 150. With debris reported on the track, NASCAR displayed the yellow flag on lap 191. Reporting that the car remained tight and he was having trouble getting on the gas, Lamar returned to pit road on lap 195 for further adjustments. The Dollar General team put on four fresh tires, packed the Camry with fuel and made track bar and air pressure adjustments.

The next caution came out quickly when the No. 20 spun on lap 206. Knowing that track position would not change, Owens called Lamar to pit road for a track bar adjustment only. Lamar returned to the track and restarted the race in the 23rd spot on lap 210. Lamar made a trip down pit road to serve a pass-through penalty for passing to the left on a restart, which relegated him back to the 24th position. Following the final caution on lap 214 for a multi-car accident in Turn 4, Lamar gained two additional positions to finish the night in the 22nd place.

Burney Lamar

“Today was just a very long and frustrating day,” said Lamar. “I can say, the team never gave up and never stopped trying to adjust the Dollar General Toyota tonight. I really appreciate all their hard work. This was not the finish I had hoped for here. But we’ll just put this one in the books and move forward.”

Brian Vickers returns to the driver’s seat of the No. 32 Dollar General Camry for the next three Nationwide Series events.

Next Stop: The NASCAR Nationwide Series heads to New Hampshire Motor Speedway next weekend for the Camping World RV Sales 200 presented by Turtle Wax. The race will be broadcast LIVE on ABC and on PRN Radio starting at 2:30 p.m. EST. The green flag is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. EST.

Yes, a diaper-changing contest. No, Ciel Taylor Lamar and Trace McDowell – McNugget, as he is know – were not participants.

Their fathers simply used baby dolls dressed in a Toyota onesie – since both drive a Toyota. Their fathers, that is.

The contest was the brainchild of Lamar’s public relations representative, Jody Jennings, who also invited McDowell since he’s a new father.

Like the racers they are, McDowell and Lamar tried for any advantage they could get, from McDowell opening up a diaper before the contest started to Lamar spreading out a Dollar General towel on a table to act as a “changing pad.”

Post-Race Notes & Quotes

The Milwaukee Mile – June 20, 2009

- Kyle Busch (second) was the highest-finishing Toyota driver in Saturday night’s NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS)
race at The Milwaukee Mile. Busch led once for a race-high 80 laps, and it is the ninth top-five finish for Busch in 15
NNS races in 2009.

- Jason Leffler (10th) also scored a top-10 finish Saturday night for Toyota.

- Camry drivers Trevor Bayne (12th), Michael McDowell (14th), Scott Lagasse Jr. (16th), Burney Lamar (22nd), Brad
Coleman (24th), Michael Annett (28th) and Kelly Bires (36th) were also in the field.

KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 Combos Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing

Finishing Position: 2nd

Can you talk about your race tonight?

“We started in the back and drove through the field. We had a good race car. I knew that Carl (Edwards) was better
than us all night. He just took his time and stayed out on tires one run. He fell behind a little bit with track position. He
seemed to get that back. He went up there and passed us and won the race. Our car wasn’t that strong, it was real loose
if I tried to drive it any harder. I just didn’t have it.”

Are you disappointed with tonight’s finish?

“Well, duh. I finished second. I’m not here to finish second. I traveled all this way to win the race and I didn’t win the
race. I guess the bright side of it is that I’ll get home early and get to bed early.”

Do you think you needed clean air to get the win?

“I was out front and he passed me. His car was better than my car was. Any time I tried to go harder I got loose.”

Can you talk about your battle for second with Erik Darnell?

“It was a hard battle with Erik (Darnell). He had a good race car, too. It was another Roush (Fenway Racing) car. I just
tried to race him clean and try to get by him there and eventually I finally did. We probably had a second, third or
maybe fourth place car and made the most of what we had.”

Jason Leffler

JASON LEFFLER, No. 38 Great Clips Toyota Camry, Braun Racing

Finishing Position: 10th

Did your car handle differently in the race than practice?

“I’m not sure what happened. We just lost all of our speed. We had a good car in practice and thought we were going to
be able to battle with the leaders during the race. We were just fighting the thing all night. Scott (Zipadelli, crew chief)
and the guys worked hard on pit road to try to make it better, but it just never came to us. It was another top-10 finish for
this Great Clips team, but I’m disappointed because I thought we were going to challenge for the win.”

TREVOR BAYNE, No. 99 Michael Waltrip Racing Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing

Finishing Position: 12th

Can you talk about your race tonight?

“We had to overcome some adversity tonight. We really had to work on the car and finally got it decent at the end of the
race. Unfortunately we had a tire get away from us and we had to overcome that, but that’s stuff that happens every once
in a while. Jerry (Baxter, crew chief) and I learned a lot tonight, and I continue to get more comfortable in these cars. For
this being only my third race with the team, I can’t be too disappointed with the result.”

What did the team do to try and make the car better?

“This was the first time with these guys that we’ve really had to work on the car. The Aaron’s Dream Machine is a
winning race car and these Michael Waltrip Racing guys are a championship-caliber team. Jerry (Baxter, crew chief) and I
continue to get better at communicating with each other, and that will only get better the more time I have in the seat.”

MICHAEL McDOWELL, No. 47 www.constructionjobs.com Toyota Camry, JTG-Daugherty Racing

Finishing Position: 14th

SCOTT LAGASSE, JR., No. 11 America’s Incredible Pizza Company Toyota Camry, CJM Racing

Finishing Position: 16th

BURNEY LAMAR, No. 32 Dollar General Stores Toyota Camry, Braun Racing

Notes of Interest:

· Lamar heads to The Milwaukee Mile in the wake of an eighth-place finish at Kentucky Speedway, his best finish of 2009!

· Lamar will celebrate his first Father’s Day this Sunday. Daughter Ciel Taylor Lamar was born on March 4th in Nashville, Tenn. Ciel is the first child for the Nationwide Series driver.

· Lamar will sign autographs on Friday, outside of the track at Grandstand Avenue from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.

· Father’s Day Pit Stop Challenge: New fathers, Burney Lamar and Michael McDowell, will face off on Saturday afternoon in a diaper changing challenge! Veteran father and Braun Racing teammate, Jason Leffler, will serve as the official time keeper for the “contest”.

· The Milwaukee Mile Stats: Lamar has two previous starts at the 1.0-mile West Allis, Wisconsin track.

Burney on racing at The Milwaukee Mile this weekend:

“I’m really looking forward to racing this weekend at The Milwaukee Mile in one of these great Braun Racing Toyotas. I have a ton confidence in Trent and this No. 32 team. They have been putting together great cars all year and I know our set-up style will favor a track like Milwaukee. I can’t wait to get the Dollar General Camry out on the track. We are riding the momentum of our first top-10 finish together and I think we will have a great race this weekend. One of the coolest things is that Milwaukee is one of the oldest tracks that we race at. There is a ton of history and it would be such an honor to win here.”

Burney on track variety in the Nationwide Series:

“The NASCAR Nationwide Series has great track variety. We race on speedways, superspeedways, short tracks and road courses. It is a lot of fun to mix it up. This weekend we will be running on a flat track which requires a different style of driving. Braking and positioning comes into play when passing on a track like Milwaukee versus the momentum and aerodynamics that affect racing on a banked track.”

Equipment Information

The No. 32 Dollar General team will compete with chassis #BR021 in this weekend’s NorthernTool.com 250. Chassis #21 was last seen on track at Richmond International Raceway (May, 2009) where Lamar started 24th and finished 28th. #21 was also on track at Phoenix International Raceway (April, 2009) where Lamar started 16th and finished 13th.

(June 15, 2009) – Burney Lamar lined up in the 18th position for Saturday night’s Meijer 300 at Kentucky Speedway as the sun was setting in the Kentucky sky. With great pit strategy and strong driving, Lamar snagged his first top-10 finish of the season in the No. 32 Dollar General Toyota.

The Dollar General team was among those logging the most laps on track as they worked hard during Friday’s practice sessions to find the right balance in Lamar’s Toyota Camry. The result was a solid race set-up. Lamar laid down a 31.464 second lap around the 1.5-mile speedway early Saturday evening to put him in the 18th spot to start the 200-lap race. Following fireworks and pre-race ceremonies, 43 cars took to the track as the bright red sun disappeared behind the grandstands.

On lap 4, a spinning car brought out the night’s first caution flag. Lamar, who had already climbed into the top-15, reported that the car felt very good but he was concerned it would tighten up later in the run. Crew chief, Trent Owens, made the call to stay out on the track during the caution and that they would see where the car’s handling went from there.

The race restarted on lap 7 and Lamar went to work at gaining positions. He reported on the radio that the car felt pretty loose, but only in traffic. By lap 17, the No. 32 Dollar Genera Toyota had taken over the 12th spot and was running there when the night’s next caution flag came on lap 22 for debris on the race track. Owens made the call for Lamar to come to pit road for service. In an effort to gain valuable track position, the Dollar General crew only changed two tires and packed the Camry full of fuel, sending Lamar back out in sixth position.

Lamar continued to hold strong in the sixth spot. When reports of debris brought out the caution flag again, Lamar took the opportunity to discuss the car with Owens. On lap 71, Lamar came to pit road for four fresh tires, fuel and an air pressure adjustment to combat the tight-handling that was starting to surface with the Dollar General Toyota. Back on the track in the sixth position, Lamar benefited from three cars ahead being assessed penalties from NASCAR for exiting pit road too fast. This moved Lamar into the third position for the restart on lap 74.

True to form, cautions do breed cautions, and only one lap later, two cars making contact would bring out the next yellow flag. The No. 32 Dollar General Camry remained on the race track. Lamar retained his third-place position as the race restarted on lap 81. With the leaders on fresh tires, the scramble to the front was evident, and Lamar slipped back to the eighth spot.

The caution came out again on lap 84, this time for a multi-car accident. Following the restart of the race, Lamar went to work to regain the lost positions. Owens read times to his driver over the radio, encouraging him each lap. “You’re catching these guys. Don’t waste your time once you get there. You are faster,” said Owens.

Through the long green-flag run, Lamar came on the radio to report that the car’s handling was becoming increasingly tight, first only behind traffic, and then through the corners. At lap 139, the leaders began to make green-flag pit stops. The No. 32 Dollar General Toyota came to pit road on lap 140 for four tires, fuel and an air pressure adjustment. This time, Lamar was victim to NASCAR’s pit road speed, and was required to serve a pass-through penalty down pit road. The result put the No. 32 in the 18th position and one lap down to the leaders.

Lamar went to work and gained two additional spots by the time the caution flag came out on lap 163. Owens knew that the Dollar General Toyota had enough fuel to complete the race so he made the call to stay out. When the race restarted on lap 168, Lamar was in the tenth position and in the “Lucky Dog” position, the first car one lap down to the leaders. As the caution flag flew on lap 171, the Dollar General pit erupted with cheers as the No. 32 narrowly escaped the spinning No. 62 car and was placed back on the lead lap.

“Wow,” said Lamar on the radio. “That was about a half inch off of the nose of our car. That was close! This car is stout!”

When the race restarted, Lamar was sitting in the eight position. With only 18 laps remaining, the No. 1 snapped into the wall as it was racing the No. 38 hard for position. NASCAR officials displayed the red flag, halting cars on the track for ten minutes as fluid and debris were cleaned from the front stretch. When the race resumed, Lamar and the No. 16 battled for the eighth position. On lap 192, Lamar moved into eighth and distanced the No. 32 Camry from the No. 16.

TOYOTA NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS)

Post-Race Notes & Quotes

Kentucky Speedway – June 13, 2009

- Joey Logano won his second NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race of the season in Saturday night’s Nationwide
Series race at Kentucky Speedway. He started from the pole position and led twice for 20 laps.

- This was Logano’s second straight win and pole at the 1.5-mile Kentucky oval having also won the 2008 event.
Camry drivers Kyle Busch (second), Jason Leffler (sixth), Michael Annett (seventh) and Burney Lamar (eighth) also
posted top-10 finishes.

- Toyota drivers Trevor Bayne (12th), Scott Lagasse Jr. (13th), Kevin Conway (15th), Michael McDowell (29th) and
Chad Blount (42nd) were also in the field.

- Busch maintains the unofficial NNS points lead by 137 points over second-place, Carl Edwards, and Leffler currently
ranks fourth (218 points behind Busch).

JOEY LOGANO, No. 20 GameStop Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing

Finishing Position: 1st
Can you talk about your win tonight?

“This is so cool for the whole GameStop Toyota team. They did a great job and gave me an awesome car at a place that kind of
suits me. I could get both of them done. This is cool, two for two at Kentucky – two poles and two wins. That’s the perfect
record here and hopefully we’ll keep that going.”

How was your car tonight?

“We changed it around. Sometimes you’re really loose and it just kind of depends on what set of tires you put on it. I think we
had one bad set of tires which kind of killed us the first pit stop. I think after that we just kind of saw what we had and got
caught speeding on pit road. It was my fault, but to overcome that is huge. This is just awesome. I really wanted this one.”

How were you able to overcome Kyle Busch on that restart?

“I’m always hungry, I always want that win. I was sitting there during that red flag and I tried the restart before that I tried
running top-side to get momentum. It didn’t work and I killed myself. If I was there I could wait on him to make a mistake.
Once I got there he just came up the back a little bit and I got a big run and got underneath him. I just had a great car and it was
able to drive away. Once I got that clean air I knew I was going to be good. I said during the red flag, ‘you know if we get
clean air we’re going to win this thing no problem.’ It makes it more fun this way to come down to the wire like that with 10
laps to go, it makes it fun.”

How does it feel to be the first driver to win two races at Kentucky?

“It’s great, it’s really cool. This is a place that I know what I want. When I go around here I know where I need to be. To win
two-for-two here, that’s really cool for me and the whole team. I guess that’s the first time anyone has done that here so it’s
pretty neat. We have two poles and two wins – it’s a perfect record here.”

What does it mean to have a one-two finish for Joe Gibbs Racing?

“It’s cool to get a one-two finish at Joe Gibbs Racing and it’s always cool for us to be number one. It’s neat. You’re sitting
there in the red flag and you’re thinking about it and wondering what can I do to beat Kyle Busch – one of the best in NASCAR.
You think about it and the opportunity was just right. I knew I had to have a run and I had to have him slip up a little bit for me
to get there. It worked out perfect. I had the run and he slipped up a little bit and I was able to get right there to his left rear and
inside draft him to get a big enough run to have the main line going into (turn) three there.”

DAVE ROGERS, crew chief, No. 20 GameStop Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing

What does it feel like to be back in victory lane?

“It was a great run for the GameStop Toyota by the entire team. First, big thanks to my driver (Joey Logano). Yesterday was
optional, he could have stayed up in Michigan and made his life easier. Instead he chose to come down here and worked on our
race car and dialed in and did a great job. I have a great staff that works around me and supports me. We just took all the notes
and went back to where we were the best in practice.

My car chief did a great job of getting the car right back to that point and
then we made a few small changes today before the race. During the race my tire guy pointed some things out with our tires.
We didn’t realize we had some codes swapped around. The biggest adjustment we made tonight was we swapped our right
front and our right rear tire to try to get a little more grip on the right rear. It was a good day for us, a fun race.”

KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 NOS Energy Drink Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing

Finishing Position: 2nd

What happened during the final restart?

“It always happens that way, we always lose at the end. I have to thank NOS and Z-Line and everybody at Toyota. These guys
on this team do a great job. Another one-two finish, Joey (Logano) is just better than we are at these places. Congratulations to
him, he learned obviously how to save his stuff and kind of snooker people in to not adjusting on their race cars. Our fault, we
didn’t have a good enough race car today. I told everybody I’d come here and finish second today anyways. Can’t complain
much. It would be nice to get 12 wins.”

JASON RATCLIFF, crew chief, No. 18 NOS Energy Drink Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing

How was the race for the No. 18 tonight?

“It was a good race, we had a fast car and led a lot of laps. For Kyle (Busch) to not get any practice and come in here and
qualify second and really almost have a shot at the pole, we needed to do a little better adjusting on our qualifying trim and we
probably would have had the pole. The guys did a good job on pit road. This is what we need to do on these non-companion
races. This is the way we need to attack them and the way we need to finish them if we’re going to stay in the hunt for this
points battle. It’s a good points night for us.

We came up a little bit short. It probably got tight there during that red flag when
it sat there and got a lot of heat on the front tires. It just got too tight for us. We were good on a short run all night because we
could take off and we weren’t too free to take off like some of the other guys. Obviously we needed to be a little freer for that
kind of condition. That red flag puts a cycle on the tires and it sits there and heat soaks them. It just got a little too tight and it
cost us a win.”

JASON LEFFLER, No. 38 Great Clips Toyota Camry, Braun Racing

Finishing Position: 6th

MICHAEL ANNETT, No. 15 Pilot Travel Centers Toyota Camry, Germain Racing

Finishing Position: 7th

BURNEY LAMAR, No. 32 Dollar General Toyota Camry, Braun Racing

Finishing Position: 8th

How was your race tonight?

“The Dollar General Toyota felt really good tonight. It was really solid. A lot has changed in the two years that I’ve been gone
from racing. Trent (Owens, crew chief) and the team have never stopped working on the set-up with me. We make more
changes than anyone in practice. It felt really good to get this finish tonight and we’re all really happy. We are heading in the
right direction.”

TREVOR BAYNE, No. 99 Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing

Finishing Position: 12th

SCOTT LAGASSE JR., No. 11 America’s Incredible Pizza Company Toyota Camry, CJM Racing

Finishing Position: 13th

KEVIN CONWAY, No. 87 Extenze Toyota Camry, NEMCO Motorsports

Finishing Position: 15th

MICHAEL MCDOWELL, No. 47 Tom’s Toyota Camry, JTG-Daugherty Racing

Finishing Position: 29th

CHAD BLOUNT, No. 10 Toyota Camry, Braun Racing

Notes of Interest:

· Kentucky Speedway Stats: Lamar has two previous starts at the 1.5-mile Sparta, Kentucky track. His best finish was 19th in June, 2006. He has completed 62.8% of laps (251/400 laps) but unfortunately his June, 2008 race ended prematurely due to mechanical issues.

· Lamar will sign autographs at the Nationwide Insurance display on Saturday from 2:30 – 3:00 p.m.

· Bluegrass Natives: Suspension specialist, Rob “PORKCHOP” Tracy, was born and raised in Frankfort; transporter driver, Patrick “TRUCKER” McGarey, hails from Prestonsberg; and jack man, Getty Cavitt, is from Owensboro, KY.

· This weekend marks Lamar’s 58th start in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. He has logged over 10,000 miles on tracks across the United States, Canada and Mexico since his first race in October, 2005.

Burney on Kentucky Speedway:

“Kentucky is a really cool track to race on. It’s wide and fast and you can run wherever you need to for your car. I’m really looking forward to getting behind the wheel of the Dollar General Toyota there. The track surface is getting a little rougher each year and my crew chief, Trent Owens, has great experience with shock packages. So I know the No. 32 Camry will be well-prepared for the weekend. We’re bringing the car we ran last weekend at Nashville. It’s nice to get a second week in a row in the same car. It allows some consistency and we can pick right up in practice where we left off, which is always helpful and lends a slight advantage.”

Burney on the fans at Kentucky Speedway:

“There are always a lot of fans that come out for the races at Kentucky Speedway. It is so great to see them out there having fun. We love our fans and if it weren’t ‘for their support, we wouldn’t be racing each week! I would like to say a special thank you to them!”

Equipment Information

The No. 32 Dollar General team will compete with chassis #BR024 in this weekend’s Meijer 300 presented by Ritz. Chassis #24 was just on track this past weekend at Nashville Superspeedway where Lamar started 22nd and finished 15th. #24 was also on track at Dover International Speedway (May, 2009) where Brian Vickers started seventh and finished fourth.

(June 8, 2009) – Burney Lamar logged more miles on Nashville Superspeedway this weekend than he did traveling from home to work. The Brentwood, Tennessee resident collected his fourth top-15 finish behind the wheel of the No. 32 Dollar General Toyota in Saturday night’s Federated Auto Parts 300.

Lamar contended with a loose-handling car in Saturday’s afternoon qualifying session. The No. 32 Toyota lined up in the 22nd position for the 225-lap event under the lights. Joining the Dollar General team for the National Anthem and invocation was Brigadier General Max Haston, Assistant Adjutant General, Army Tennessee National Guard. BG Haston also cheered Lamar and the team on from the No. 32 pit box.

When the green flag dropped, Lamar and his team knew they had some work to do to get to the front. Immediately, Lamar jumped out and moved into the top-20 within one lap and into the 18th position by lap 3 when the first caution of the night came out for a wreck in turn four. The field circled the track for nine laps as NASCAR officials cleaned up the debris. Lamar restarted in the 18th position and gained one position before the caution flag came out again on lap 23.

Lamar reported to crew chief, Trent Owens, that the car felt good, but that the handling was just a little loose. Owens made the call for Lamar to come to pit road for service and adjustments. On lap 24, Lamar brought the Dollar General Toyota to the pits for four tires, fuel and a track bar adjustment to combat the car’s loose handling. Lamar returned to the track, restarting the race in the 22nd position.

During the next run, as Lamar drove back into the top-20, he reported that the adjustments had caused the car to become tight in the center of turns three and four. Owens told his driver they would make additional adjustments on the next stop. The run remained under green-flag conditions and the field cycled through their next round of pit stops. While race leaders began pitting as early as lap 69, Owens was able to leave Lamar on track as long as possible due to their previous stop, hoping to catch a caution and pit under the yellow flag. On lap 91, he called his driver to pit road for service. Lamar pulled into his pit stall and the Dollar General team quickly changed four tires, added fuel and made an air pressure adjustment for the car’s handling.

When the next caution of the night occurred on lap 113 for debris on the front stretch, Lamar reported that the car was a little tight-handling at the end of the run. The No. 32 Dollar General Camry came to pit road on lap 116 for four tires, fuel and air pressure and wedge adjustments for the handling. The race restarted on lap 120.

Only four laps later, the caution flag was flown for the fourth and final time for a multi-car wreck in turn four. NASCAR displayed the red flag, halting cars on the track for 15 minutes as officials worked to clear the wreckage and debris. When the field returned to green-flag racing on lap 131, Lamar was in the 15th position.

The remaining 94 laps were caution-free which didn’t allow Lamar to make up lost ground. Lamar came home in the 15th place. Saturday’s finish was his fourth top-15 for the 2009 season.

We really needed some cautions there at the end, but it was just not meant to be. I want to thank all the Dollar General employees and vendor associate sponsors for coming out tonight. I had really hoped we’d get a better finish here at home. But now it’s time to turn focus to Kentucky next weekend and put this behind us.”

Next Stop: The NASCAR Nationwide Series heads to Kentucky Speedway next weekend for the Meijer 300 presented by Ritz. The race will be broadcast LIVE on ESPN2 and on MRN Radio starting at 8:00 p.m. EST. The green flag is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. EST.

For the first time this season, Lamar would compete against Brian Vickers, with whom he shares driving duties of the No. 32 Camry this season, on the race track. With Vickers in the No. 32, Lamar took over Braun Racing’s No. 10 entry, led by veteran crew chief, Stewart Cooper.

Lamar’s weekend got off to a good start after posting impressive times in both of Thursday’s practice sessions. Unfortunately, as the team returned on Saturday afternoon for time trials, their weekend quickly turned sour. As Lamar circled the track during his qualifying run, he got extremely loose and spun, hitting the outside wall. The damage was deemed irreparable by his crew and they were forced to bring out a back-up car. Despite the disappointing turn of events, Cooper and the entire Dollar General crew were confident that Lamar would be able to turn the weekend back around once the evening’s 200-lap race under the lights got underway.

The start of the Carquest Auto Parts 300 was delayed by almost two hours due to rain showers in the area. Finally, with threats of rain still in the area, the drivers were called to their cars. As he prepared to take the green flag, Lamar, starting from the rear of the field, knew he had his work cut out for him. Cooper reminded him that it was a long race and there was plenty of time to get to the front.

Lamar spent the first several laps of the race, getting a feel for his race car and its handling. During the first run, Lamar reported that the No. 10 Dollar General Camry was a little tight in the center. Cooper took note and told Lamar that they would make the necessary adjustments during their first pit stop. Lamar climbed his way up to the 28th position before the first caution of the night was displayed on lap 22 for a spin on the race track. Cooper called Lamar to pit road for four sticker tires, fuel and an air pressure adjustment. “Let’s see how it adjusts on these sticker tires,” said Cooper.

Lamar restarted from the 27th position and very quickly realized that his car’s handling had become extremely loose. Unfortunately, the race would remain under green-flag conditions for the next 60 laps, leaving Lamar on his own to battle against the loose handling condition. His struggle was evident as he circled the track, eventually falling one lap down to the leaders. The field began making their next round of pit stops on lap 78 and Lamar gratefully followed suit on lap 80. The Dollar General crew changed four tires, filled it with fuel and made air pressure and track bar adjustments to tighten up the car, before sending the No. 10 back out onto the track.

Lamar settled into a rhythm and after several laps reported that the adjustments made during the pit stop had greatly improved the handling of the Dollar General Camry. “This is the best the car has been all night,” he reported to Cooper. The improvement was reflected in Lamar’s lap times and he began running his fastest lap times of the night. Over the course of the long green flag run, Lamar maneuvered his way through the heavy traffic and by lap 100, was knocking on the door to the top-20.

The next round of pit stops were also made under green-flag conditions and Lamar took his turn on lap 150. As he pulled into his pit stall, Cooper called for four tires, fuel and a small track bar adjustment to keep up with the changing track conditions. With 50 laps left, Lamar hoped to be able to race his way back onto the lead lap and bring home a solid top-20 finish for the No. 10 Dollar General team. Unfortunately, “Mother Nature” did not allow Lamar the opportunity to accomplish that goal. As showers moved into the area and rain fell on the track, NASCAR was forced to cut the event 30 laps short. The No. 10 Dollar General team came away with a 22nd place finish.

Next Stop: The NASCAR Nationwide Series heads to Dover International Speedway for the Heluva Good! 200 next weekend. The Saturday afternoon race is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. EST and will be broadcast LIVE on ABC and on MRN Radio.

This weekend, however, the two Braun Racing drivers will go head-to-head in the Carquest Auto Parts 300 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway as Lamar makes his debut in the No. 10 Dollar General Toyota.

“I’m very excited to be behind the wheel of the No. 10 Dollar General Toyota this weekend at Lowe’s Motor Speedway,” said Lamar. “Any weekend I am behind the wheel of one of these Braun Racing Camrys is a great weekend for me! It will be a slight adjustment to work with a different team, but I have the utmost confidence in Stewart Cooper and the 10 crew. This team is competitive every week and I feel we have a great chance for a top-10 or even a top-five finish! Lowe’s Motor Speedway a lot of fun to race on and the Saturday night race under the lights is always exciting and packs a special punch. ”

This will be Lamar’s third start at the 1.5-mile Concord, North Carolina track. He was last seen in the No. 32 Dollar General Toyota at Richmond International Raceway where a flat tire and subsequent green-flag pit stop cost him his first top-10 finish of the season. Lamar will drive the No. 32 Dollar General Toyota in18 of the 35 Nationwide Series events in 2009.

Stewart Cooper and the No. 10 Dollar General crew have done a great job of putting together fast cars this year and I am sure they will bring a solid one to Lowe’s.
